how r u guys preparing?? after going thru dis thread i found dat schweser+jorion+core readings is enuff to qualify.. but hav also heard dat bionic is d best material for FRM so dnt want to miss it either... though cnt find enuff time to study cuz of new job :(

Please let me know where can i avail the soft copies of the schweser notes / core readings and jorion handbook. Have heard that the course has changed drastically compared to 2008 so using the old material is pointless though i have 2008 schweser notes and jorion 4th edition handbook as softcopies.

just bought the jorion handbook 5th ed and core readings.. ahem... 3000 pages of material did made me excited as well as to be frank scared me a bit .....n d calci is real cool..:cheerio:
i feel like a young kid again who has joined a new class.. gets all d books n stationary( aww i didnt get ny new dress 😁 hihihi) n is really eager to start studying fr d new class

I am studying for the CREDIT RISK Section... really comprehensive and painful to understand the models ...
aaah.... credit, market n fixed income r most imp topics i guess.. n tough too... planning to take one of dem (probably between credit n market) frm next week... finally done with basel frm jorion n core readings... completed last three chapters frm jorion core readings have just one chapter on it.. oder one is mixed with sarbanes oxley act... khair.. m feeling better nw.. but planning to read d basel ii 2006 update n 2008 market risk updates dis weekend.. dey have given d links fr dat in d readings list....
