My November 2011 Level 1 exam result came in the morning around 8am. So expect the same... but GARP doesn't mention anything related to time at which results will be out.

You should start with Core Readings as the name suggests it covers the Core theory and practice to be FRM and pass FRM Exam prescribed by GARP.
As I am also preparing for Part I & II, i feel the Schweser and Bionic Turtle would be good for revision. PM me or leolazer for more details of Schweser and Bionic Turtle. Understanding the concepts and passing the exam are two different things, and for FRM both are required so go through the core readings first and then decide which one (Schweser and Bionic Turtle) you would like to refer.

Correction - FRM is not a general Finance related "qualification". FRM is focused purely on Risk Management and it is a "certification".
What does this mean - well, it means that with FRM you will not get a job in Investments or any other field except Risk. Secondly, FRM as a certification is not enough to launch a career.
I suggest you to consult some senior people before taking any step which is just "follow the herd"

I don't know about Delhi but you can get FRM Core readings, Schweser and Bionic Turtle material from Mumbai, they can courier you. In previous post I mentioned that FRM Core Readings Part II (from Om Books) wasn't as per FRM AIM Statement 2012 and if you are appearing for FRM Part I only then it doesn't matter.
There are copiers such as Om Books, Laxmi Copiers, Mahakali Copy Centre provide FRM material, but at present Bionic Turtle material is available only with Om Books.

No I have not used BT at all.
Used scheweser, Hull (for futures & options only), Jordian practice qns, and last but not the least pristine quiz bank & mock test (i think quiz bank for every topic was the best and turning point for me).
