Advise in Super Selector, make any substitution and pray real hard! :)
But, on a more serious note, why planning to take Pathan out?
And on ur second move about Lara, I myself am thinking on the same lines, to get in Lara, it is time he performs!

I think that this is not Dhoni's series ...
Last 2 matches, his performance with the bat has not been v good .. he might get a catch or two but even with that, his combined tally is not crossing 50 runs. Gayle has an advantage because he can pick up that odd wicket. So people thinking of substituting Gayle, my suggestion would be keep him and replace Dhoni with someone else.

We are talking Greg Chappell, who does not believe in having a fixed order. Plus, we are talking of 3 outta 4 batsmen, as the big-shot players coming at the top, slog overs mein koi bachega hi nahi!
Dont think Dhoni at No.4 is too good an option unless we have Sehwag/Yuvi coming down or India is at 200/2 in 40 overs
