Okay fellow IBPS PG group walo. I have been reading a lot of this nonsense about the number of seats going up by 3500 and this fellow who has given the info refuses to reveal his sources. But the is besides the point. Firstly seats cannot increase at this point as it would be completely unfair to many other candidates who took the mains exam. Secondly if such a thing were to happen there would have been a huge ruckus everywhere about this and also and official announcement by IBPS. And by any chance this is true, like 0.0000001 percent then be happy many more of us will get hired. So please stop this nonsense of seats and crap also don't be distracted by it. Please if you have not scored that well to insure a job in this IBPS but are dangling on hopes please pray that you make it, I will pray for us all too but also be smart and study your ass of for SBI. Karam karo phal mat dheko. This is AbAnker to all my PG friend. Over and out.

Subah tak to meko b laga chalo 200-300 seats badh sakti hain, par shaam hote hote 3500 badh gai. Badi vinamrata se request karta hun, abbe itna bada samaj sevak mat bano, agar ibps ko barhani hui to wo notify kar denge. Hadd hai!!! Cutoff ghatate barate seats hi bara diye...
Har saal ibps k vacancy k bare me 1 April ko final result k saath pata chalta tha, to seat increase hua ya decrease hua kisi ko pata hi nhi rahta tha. Isbar vacancy notification k saath aa gyi isliye ye sab expection chal raha hai. Agar vacancy increase karti hai to fayda hi hai. waise v bank preference jinke vacancy 0 the unke v ibps ne fill karai hai. 1 April ko dekhte hai kya hota hai.hope for the best.

My reaction when I heard seat badh gyi
Since yesterday Mr. Satyam is trending on this thread. There is no denying, the fact that whatever he said is "sounds too good, to be true"....There are various people who are reacting to this "news" in their own way. Now let's analyze all the facts:
Claim: IBPS PO has increased the seats this year (Approx 3000-3500)
Info about Mr Satyam: He is a self acclaimed handsomely paid technocrat in some top MNC (i guess Accenture), who has considerable amount of experience (5+ yrs) under his belt. Given the monotony/ work stress he is preparing for SSC/Banking exams....Now comes the story.... Mr. Satyam has been infamous in SSC CGL thread for leading a crusade (and demanding donations) for making Prelims only qualifying in nature....Though the SSC pinned his baloon in right time before it could have flown into the sky....U can confirm this on SSC page as well (Sources: some of the comments in his post since yesterday)
Q1. Whether any increase in seats is possible?
Ans: Yes, it is. It can be increased from 01 to 10000. But geneally never have I seen or heard that in any exam in India ever it has increased to the tune of 30%+. Generally if it is increased, then it ranges between 10-15%.... (source: news, my budgeting experience etc etc). At the most I think it can increase to around 800 seats.
Q2. If there is increase, the protest can surface in different places...isnt so?
Ans: Recently in SBI PO 2016 exam we saw that students were called for interview in the ratio of nearly 2.51 (approx). Yes SBI did called fewer students for interview. So ratio of 1:3 is not a compulsion. So, in case there is increased vacancies, IBPS might have factored in that, and called up in the ratio of 1:31. But even this 1:3.1 ratio can be only for additional 800 seats not for 3000-3500 seats.
Q3. Whteher to believe Mr. Satyam or not?
Ans: (a) Mr. Satyam's credentials are not reliable
(b) If there is addition of 3000-3500 seats after declarartion of cut-off's then also it can not be included in the current year. It has to be rolled over for next year.
(c) IBPS/Govt Organization is known for transparency & efficiency. Such blunder act of "ommission or commission" will face the wrath of Judiciary and they will be humiliated for the same. They can be even convicted for this act...
(d) In every govt competitive exams, though it is written "tentative...and it may increase", but in reality in every exam till date, none of the times there has been 100% recruitment agaist advt. It is always lesser only.
So, I am not going to rely on Mr. Satyam or comment on his post. Because the more we comment or discuss, the more we are giving weightage to such rumors......

It may be posssible that very less general candidate cleared for mains as happened in ssc due to reservation many obc took genral seats and hence only 11% were called for ssc tier2.
I got 76.75 in mains General.. Called by TCS on 20th March.. I am really confused? Sould i join TCS or i can take the risk and wait for 1st april? What do you guys think?
Don't know about Satyam. But there was a guy last year in PG, forgot his name. He had posted that a GM of a PSB was known to him who told that the total vacancies are around 12000+ (he had given exact figure which I don't remember). People in PG disagreed with him and trolled him (though not as severely as with Satyam). On April 1st 2016, it turned out that this guy was right upto the last digit ! The vacancies were same as told by him. #Nostalgia
