To the experienced people here and someone who failed in Interview (Please do not take it as negative stance and reply ) - What are the criterias when someone is failed in Interview. Please keep your reply to the point and tell the valid reasons.

last year i got 92 cutoff se 16 jyada.. still out... this year i got 77...29.8 weighted score.. wat are chances??.. final cutoff will b??

For those who are complaining about less vacancies and hence high cutoff this year, let me remind you...
In 2015, 40763 candidates were called for interview obviously to maintain the ratio 1:3 for selection, why? because VACANCIES were "->12434<=" (about 3600 more than 2016)
In 2016, about 27000 candidates were called for interview again to maintain the ratio 1:3, why again? BECAUSE VACANCIES THIS TIME WERE "->8822<-".
So in 2016, its not like that same 40k were called for interview, in that case, you may say cutoff will remain as high as 2015 as the ratio will be 1:4.5
But the reality is, they maintianed the same ratio 1:3, so instead of 40k, 27k were called due to less vacancies, therefore vacancies wont make a difference to cutoff at all, other FACTORS may do, but definitely not VACANCIES.
Bhai all selections due to less vacancies this time were already done in mains...so 13,763 less candidates qualified in mains this year despite hard paper, no cutoff judgement due to vacancy will be there in interview.....that's my personal view

Last year i got 85 in mains and 75 in interview. Missed final cut off by .9 and reserved list by .4..😢😢😢. pata nai es saal kya hoga..gt 72 dis year....halat tight ho gyi hai..sala raat ko nind bhi nai aa rhi hai. Sabke polls dekh k to or darr gya hu...jisko dekho uske hi 75+ hai.😐😐😐 yesa laga rha hai ki kahi 41+ cut off na chala jaye...😐😐

Candidates 75 se upar max 2k hoge right Now category btw 67 nd 74..interview..like agar kisi k 72 73 marks hai and interview me 10..and someone with 68 or 69 scores 12 or 13..game is won by low score candidate. Game is on..keep your fingers crossed..and prepare for sbi General category only.
Last year se compare mat kro cutoff koi bi.waisa pattern nai follow krega

maximum janta 60-70 ki range mein hain ..........below 60 guys need to be realistic & start preparing for SBI, above 70 bahut hi kam hai yaar pata nahi log kyun bol rahe hai jyada hai mera ek friend jo RBI assistant mein select hua bhopal mein usi ka 56 aaya hai........... ye aisa mains tha jaha achche se achche logo ka kata hai sab kismat ka khel hai isme .......... PLUS interview may also take some of you ahead of 70 above guys as well so be optimistic aur please last year se compare mat karo its a totally different story this year

I have read few analysis and wanted to present my side of some facts and datas which I researched from the various portals, so here it goes:( Look at the datas carefully, they will play mazor role in the end)
SBI PO 2016 - Real exam started from here and what followed Mains after pre exam was total disaster. after windup of final result It came into light that only some 4700+ aspirants could score 60 or above in Mains exam out of 200. No doubt paper was way tough and out of the box. It came as a storm and we all were promised to have a tough year with bank exams.
IBPS PO 2016-17 - Now Mains exam was based on SBI PO pattern with only quant being little easy. Now people might say that almost every aspirant was knowing well what happened in SBI PO and may have practised very well for the exam but I sat for both exam this year and I know those who did not appeared for SBI PO but only for IBPS PO must have been equally shocked as were SBI PO aspirants on 31st July last year.
So what is conclusion here:
I just want to withdraw 3 points from above discuusion
1. The low cutoff 52.5 was a result of very tough paper unlike previous years and many aspirants despite scoring well failed in 1 section or 2.
2. With few exceptions included ( assuming that the mind of aspirants has only upgraded a bit after SBI PO) I can say not more than 6000- 7000 max people have scored more than 60 or above including all categories.
3. Given the situation as marks are quite depressed this year compared to last years (Very few 80+), yes it is true that many unresrved seats will be eated by reserved guys ( But I hope IBPS takes care of it ) but again UR cutoff will remain below 40- 40.5 (Max.) . (Same as happened with SBI where final cutoff reduced by 9 marks) but my take is it will be 38-40 for general , 36-38 for OBC, 33-35 for SC and 30-32 for ST.
P.S - This analysis is little bit qualitative then data driven. So please put your inputs too and If agree than do give your suggetion.

My score is 65.50 sc cat with decent interview.and my first preference is idbi.i am sure if selected i will get idbi.i have never lived in rural areas nor i would be able to .so what do you think idbi is good choice.?
Last year my score was 74.5 in mains and 55 in interview. Missed by 0.7% and reserve list by 0.3%. This time my score is 61.75 and expecting 60 marks in interview. Any chance this time??? Cat: SC

Bhaiyo kya tum logo be bhi observe kiya kya ki 75 we 80 k beech mai kafi kam students me score kiya hai.jyada logo k ya to 80+ hai ya below 75.Maine alag alag websites pe jake bhi logo k marks dekhe waha bhi yehi scenario hai.
