Its my humble request to all who got marks in 52.5-60 range plz do actively participate in polls...so that we have a better idea about possible final cut off
General 53-60 range main kitne log hai??
Last year IBPS Mains cut-off was 76. Lets make it 75 for the sake of calculation. That makes 30 out of 80 marks. Final cut-off for general was 49.90. That is 19.9 was required by the last selected candidate in mains. This year mains cut off was 52.5 that makes it 21 out of 80. And if we add 20 marks for interview . Final cut off for general can never ever be above 41. But seeing the difficulty of exam and marks obtained by most of the candidates it seems like final cut-off would be around 40 (plus or minus 0.5). So if you have secured above 70 marks. There is a fair chance for you to be an IBPS PO.

Hii Guys, So, Here's a weird one. I got into Bob PGDF and was about to take it up as i had goofed up in the IBPS interview. ( One of the panelist gave me a long lecture on ideologies and beliefs after he saw that i had said "atheist" on my form). But now that i have good enough marks in the mains ( 91.75) i was wondering whether interview would have a huge bearing . So, my question is, can people be failed in the interview, especially for such reasons? Also, due to my stupidity ( This was my 1st attempt) at the time of filling up my form, i gave the preferences alphabetically , and voila, Andhra bank ( Even tho i am from kerala) is my 1st preference. Some people say its better to pick Bob. Thoughts?
