Bank PO job is not as great as some people think it is . As a job which provides salary which is a necessity, it is tolerable. If you pump up your expectations before joining, just like guys & gals in here are becoming impatient & intolerable to view their results, then when you finally land a job, and see the harsh reality of the work life of a bank po, you might fall into a deep depression. I am not dissing the majority of people who are happy working as a PO. I am just saying there are far too many people who are cursing now about having got a po job, and its generally good not to raise your expectations too much or to expect too much of an increase in happiness .

As per the telecon I had today with the IPPB official,the IPPB is yet to receive an clearance from some government department ( I guess it may be the final approval from RBI) as IPPB has received only In-principle clearance.This clearance is expected within two weeks and only after the clearance is received the results will be declared.
