Are the reasoning and computer section always merged in SBI PO ? Or this format is in trend since last year?
My interview is about 18 min they asked nearly 15 questions for 1 question i said dont know for 1 que i cant satisfy them everything else is too fine iam the first person got interviewed in my panel what about my interview

Agar kisi ko ye lagta hai ki interview me fail nahi karte to aap galat ho..because last tym it happened with me they didn't give me minimum qualifying marks in interview...srry but this is truth😢😞

entered the room, wished them, frst question introduce yourself. but I was wearing watch, so they asked me to keep this out. I went out and came back continued the interview.
1. introduce urself.
2. major problems indian economy is facing.
3. limitations of monetray policy.
4. what is current account convertability
5. what are its impact in india
6. what is current account in bop.
second guy asked
1. economy policy of india (I could not answer this as the question was strange, but right answer would be LPG. Its killing me that even after so much of preparation I could not answer the simples question)
2. offshore banking(got confused with foreign banking and did not answer)
3. what is ip address? its classes
4. function of class d( could not answer this).

if you are chief employment officer of India, what are steps that you will take for the employment of the youth.
out of total 11 questions I answered 7, but One question LPG wala must have made a wrong impression of mine.

Feb 9 chennai iob 1pm batch anyone?
BOI Noida, Panel-2:(1pm) Reached by 12:15pm -- Biometric done in first go(happy)-- went for doc. verification by 12:35pm(feeling confident)--asked to fill the doc. listing form beforehand, started filling, then came the bummer--forgot to bring IBPS application form--(ran towards main gate--asked an autorikshaw driver for the nearest cyber cafe, charged Rs100,maine kaha uthaale bhai tu bhi faayda)--came back after 20min. --got everything verified--turn came around 3pm:
(As I entered, 5 panel members , with serious sincere expressions welcomed me); I got lil bit nervous, but carried myself. after all the greetings etc. they offered me the seat.
M1: So, tell us something about urself
me: started smoothly, making eye contact with each one of them one by one, then suddenly made it with sardarji(too serious , by god!), began fluttering a lil bit, then again composed myself.
M1: Why banking after mech.engg?
me: I calmly corrected him about my qualification, BE+MBA(thats why banking!) , he said, oh MBA? U dint mention it before,so M2 beside him said nhin ye likha hain na isne integrated course hai, ok ok.
M2: acha aapne ese ka zikr kiya tha apne intro me, so whats the difference between ese and ies?
me: ies- indian economic services; ese- engg, services exam.
M2: nhin nhin IES to indian engg services hai
me: nhin sir, vo pehle tha , now its ese.(Ok, OK!)
M2: Why Idbi on top?
me: (with a smile), sir I read about IDBI bank before and how it played an imp. role in India's development since Independence , (and was gng to add some better reasons, but then..)
M2: khaali IDBI pe research kiya hai?
me: (dumbfaced, and confused ki kahin kisi bank ki history na puchle) yes sir, but .. (was gng to add something more..then..)
M2: PNB, BOB etc. ko ku nhin diya pref. , u r from north zone, were u preferring a bank with less rural branches?
me: no Sir! I din't have that criterion in my mind.
M2: If we send u to a village in bihar, then ?
me: will definitely go,why not sir!
M2: really? what do u know about problems in a village, ever been to one?
me: Sir, I was born in Bikaner , though not a rural area but have been to some in rajasthan, and while my graduation in Chandigarh, to villages in punjab as well. raj. vill. have got stupendous problems that not everyone is aware of!
M2: like?
me: No electrification in many, and despite the soil being richest in minerals compared to any other place in india, capable of growing almost everything, it falls short of irrigation, and gets hit by drought as well due to climatic reasons over ther.
M2: what do u propose shall be done in those places to make things run normal again for farmers?
me: artificial canals (was gng to say something more stupid..but then..)
M2: but there is no water, what will do with canals without water?
me:(smiling on my stupidity) Sir, irrigation techniques and proper allotment of water could be done area wise.(unsatisfied, gave some illogical ans. himself and I nodded in agreement).
M2: tell us some schemes launched by PM for rural
me:(again stupidity) Mudra yojna, but its not entirely for rural population, its main aim is refinancing, and he smiled and gave me a hint: 'DHAN'
yes sir, PMJDY (explained word by word), he said zero balance necessary?--no sir, min. balance could be zero..what about max.?
(I dont know what happened to me) I said 'NO LIMIT'..and all of them laughing.
then any other feature of PMJDY, explained overdraft(eligibility etc.) and other associated schemes, and he seemed satisfied.
m2: Ok, Mr Karan , that's all, you can go now. ( I was waiting for a toffee, or ateast a biscuit, there table was full of things, but kisi ko kuch ni diya, jaise yahan pe some ppl were saying!)
I got up! wished all, and got a glimpse of expressions:
female member-- smiling all along
M1(middle one)-- no expressions
M2(main interviewr)-- seemed expressionless
M3(sardarji)-- seemed uninterested but gave me a goodbye by his eyes movt.
M4: the corner most one, seemed smiling and supporting all the way.
P.s: I was a lil shaky in the beginning, but carried myself well all the way ahead after that, and was confident. The only thing they want to see is how well u carry urself, believe me nothing else.
