Both are good ! but IBPO PO is better. Some people are talking abt organisations matters and all. Really u guys need to know about our constitutional structure a lot.
A RBI Assistant joining the bank at 23 will go up to to Manager scale or one more scale above say it scale C officer.
An IBPS PO joining at 23 can be elevated to GM at 45 mostly and has left 15 years service in which he can be elavated to Executive Director and u kids just know one thing "Out of 4 Deputy Governer in RBI" one is selected from banking background and one of the EDs in PSU bank stands for post. If you want examples just google it.
Presently SS Mundra , Deputy governer of RBI was a ED of BOB joining BOB at 1977 as Probationary Officer :D
So much negativity here. I should give my perspective. I am 22 years old, I cracked ibps po. I came from a very poor family. There were days when we didn’t have enough to eat. Since my childhood our family didn’t see even 10,000 rupees. My dad’s salary right now is 8000 rupees. He works in some private company. But now I will get 35000 rupees on an avg. In my home there’s no refrigerator, no air cooler, no dining table, no sofa set, no double cot bed, no plasma tv. But, in just six months, I could buy all these things.. In just six months am going to change the fate of my family. I could buy my dream bike. My friends at most owns a pulsar 150. Now, I will buy a cbr , or R15, a pulsar 200ns or rtr 200, or the classic thunderbird. I am the only govt job holder among all my friends circle right now, everyone is envying me. My mom and dad are feeling proud, almost the entire town knows that I became po. Where ever I go am hearing the congratulations. At the age of 22 I think this is too much for me….i don’t think I need anything more….am feeling liberated. Per month 8 holidays will come, 2 satdays 4 Sundays and other public holidays. They are enough for me. And regarding work pressure, am ready to work even 15 hrs per day. Many people here are same like me and many of us are ready to tackle the work pressure. We don’t fear. Now all negative mongers , go to hell. If you get good job than this go and join nobody gives a fuc. But don’t demean this job. If you want a job with more free time go and sweep the streets if u sweep in the morning u will be free till evening.
