Hi Friends

This is Raj,a so called IT chap having around 4.5 years of work Ex in IT industry.

Recently i have started preparing of GMAT targetting ISB,IIMs(hope i am not sounding stupid enough).I am looking for a training institute for GMAT preparation in Gurgaon.

I am in real fix and not able to decide between Jambore e and Princeton Reviews.
It will be great if you guys can share your experience and advice.
I shall be thankful to you for pulling me out of this fix.

Thanks

Hi,
I have a question regarding GMAT.Since I didn't find any other suitable thread to ask the question,I am asking it here.
I have been working in the IT industry for the past 3 years.I am planning to appear for GMAT this year(i.e. in 2011).
Here is a brief snapshot of my academics:
Xth: 93%
XIIth: 91%
Graduation: 69%
No significant extra-carriculars.
Considering my profile, which B-schools will be suitable for me to apply through GMAT?(I am particularly interested to know about the foreign B-schools as I will apply to ISB and IIM's anyways)
I have heard that foreign B-schools put a lot of emphasis on your extra-carriculars.Will that be a constraint for me as I don't have anything significant there?
Another question,it will be of great help if somebody can post the fees(in US dollars) required to apply to the top B-schools which takes students through GMAT?(including ISB)

Thanks,
Shaswata

HI Shaswata

I think you have done extremely well in your academics.Though its good to have extra-curricular in your profile but it wont make much of difference since you have such good academics and Experience in Leading IT Organization. Most important factors are Good Academics,Experience in Leading IT company,Your career growth and ofcourse a good GMAT score .I think if you can score between 700 and 730,you are through.
ISB fee for executive program is around 14 lakh rupees but i think you should not be worried about the fees and all because you always have option of education loan.

Raj
