Area of smaller triangle = 34*(0.65)^2= 14.365 sq inches

or

Because smaller triangle will be similar to larger triangle and each side will have same ratio as compared to corresponding side of larger triangle.
so Area of smaller triangle = 34*(0.65)^2= 14.365 sq inches

The value of the denominations : Re.1 Rs.2 Rs.5
No. of coins : x y 300-x-y
Value of the coins: 1*x+2*y+5*(300-x-y)
Thus the first equation comes to 4x+3y=540
Now when the No. of coins are rearranged as per the condition
The second equation comes to 3x+4y=580
Solving the equations, we get
x=60,y=100
Thus, the total no. of Rs.5 coin is 140
@sh.arora10 : equilateral??
a square of longest possible side is drawn inside the triangle ABC with one side of the square lying on the side BC.If AB=13,BC=21,AC=20 ,then find the side of the square ..

bro i made a silly calculation mistake
After the elections, a firm conducted exit polls. Exactly 2% of the male voters said they had voted for candidate A, while exactly 59% of the female voters said they had voted for candidate A. If in total, exactly 17% of the people said they had voted for the Candidate. What is the minimum number of people who were surveyed?
OPTIONS

1) 17
2) 19
3) 323
4) 1700
5) 1900
