Hey guys, I need some advice: MDI (IB - International Business) vs IMI Delhi (Core) Factors to consider : ROI, Future prospects, Brand value, quality of curriculum etc. Also do you know anyone who has been in the MDI (IB) program? I'd be grateful if you could send me in their direction. I have a few questions but not many answers to be found on the internet.

NMIMS Mumbai vs VGSoM IIT Kgp
Profile - 9/8/8, BTech Mech + 33 months work ex in IT + left job in July 2020 for CAT prep. So overall an average profile.
As of now, inclined towards IT/ops/gen mgmt.
NM has a good brand name in the industry till now, while RoI of VGSoM is pretty good. NM is how far ahead of VGSoM and what would I be missing on if I prefer VGSoM over NM?

Is it worth leaving an L admit for one of ABC next year? I know that it has been done in the past, but what makes people sacrifice a year to get there?

A year back, I would have cribbed not getting a single call from my dream colleges just cause of the GEM tag. But it didn't happen when the results are out now. In sheer introspection and interaction with few fellow non-GEM folks, I have realised the importance of diversity that people from different academic background bring. There experiences can be an eye opener at times. So thanking CAT 20 for its lesson, I guess it's time to get started. CAT' 21 it'll be. Good luck to people who got into there dream b-schools and all the best to folks who are going to be on the road leading to CAT 21 and beyond...

After 2.5 years of dreaming about getting into a top b-schools, the verdict is
CAT-
93.73 %ile in first attempt
99.51 %ile in second attempt
Possible/Fix Converts Category:-
MDI PGDM (30 WL) ... Damnn Sab bol rahe hai easy hoga.. Par andar ke andar fatt rahi hai.
SJMSOM IITB (100 WL originally) .... Would convert in the next list most probably
IIM Shillong, SIBM Pune, SCMHRD-Direct Convert
Possible/Fix Rejections Category :-
SPJIMR marketing - Direct Reject ( Man would have loved to be there, GI1 was crisp as hell IMO)

2.) Family ( Man the support throughout, I don't know how you guys keep up with me )
3.) Friends ... Chai pee lo .... HAHA ... Love you guys ❤️
All in all i'll count this as a win.
To all guys out there, reservation, diversity, falana dhmkana sab pe discussions bohot hue hai PG pe. It's nothing new. Har koi aadmi free time ho to logo ko apna opinion baatte ghumta hai. But the point is if yo make it to your dream college against all the odds. It won't matter anymore. It wont matter ki reservation accha hai ya nahi, diversity acchi hai ya nahi. And i've found people debating on these topics half of the time.
That's it for today.

Do Companies conduct aptitude round during final placements in MBA colleges or do they just check the CAT scores?
