With interview season almost over, we still have more than 2months in hand before joining the college. Can anybody suggest some certifications or any other thing which will be helpful during the summer placements? I read somewhere that udemy/Coursera courses are not very helpful. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Bros I need little help pls. how difficult is it to study for cat given you are attending a bschool . My best shot this year was TAPMI but till now did not get shortlisted. I have converted LBSIM and maybe will convert FORE, KJ. This was my 3rd attempt in cat - 83 percent. My target next year is around 93 so IMI, IMT g , GIM. I definitely dont want to attend lbsim, but if i dont join i have to find a job which i left last year due to cat prep. Finding job this time is so hard. So, will it be very difficult to prepare for cat again studying at lbsim. I think lbsim classes are still online not sure.
Thoughts? Suggestions? :P

Please help me with a question. I am fed up now. I have to find hundreds digit of 225^40. So it will be 225^40/1000. Now I can cancel one power of 225 with 25 and 1000 too. Then it will be 225^39×9/40. The remainder will be 250 after multiplying it with 25 in the end. But 2 is not the correct answer. The correct answer is 6. Anyways I got the answer 6 in the end by applying a different method but I am really confused what's wrong with the first method with which I attempted the question. Help me

General Male Non engineer Tier 1 college. 96.17 percentile in CAT. Sections above 80. Acads 95 90 59. 28months workex. Decent CAP PI (couldn't answer 2 acads questions). Chances of conversion of IIM Ranchi PGP ?

My humble request to fellow aspirants here. When somebody posts a question asking for college suggestions and has already explicitly stated that he/she needs to join a college this year, please do not comment "Try CAT 2021, you can do better". You do not know their story. They could have ultra conservative parents trying to marry them off. They could have a sick father who needs to retire in the next couple of years. They might have a sibling for whose marriage they have to bear the expense of. The person is already low on self confidence because he/she couldn't get into the college they wanted. They are already heartbroken about settling for less. Please don't make it worse. Not everybody has the privilege of trying the next year. If you did indeed overcome hardships to try one more year, good for you. But please be considerate of the fact that everybody doesn't have the financial and mental space. Thanks ❤️
NITIE mai GEM fresher with avg acads tier 3 clg. ka koi chance hai... koi veteran jo dekha ho kya hota batao... 7 ko PI hai.. already hearing acads aur clg ka role rehta.. Kaafi anxiety hai.. Abhi tak CAP diya.. bahut bekar huya.. grill kara.. IIT B ka diya usme bhi kuch nahi samajh aaraha sirf 2 hi cheez discuss huyi 20 minute.. waha bhi hope kam lag rahi.. XL ka BM mai jo panel tha woh pokerfaced tha.. XL HRM for me a great PI, but again XL hai.. kuch sochna nahi chahta.. Shillong date postpone kardiya woh alag BT deraha.. FMS ka toh kuch pata hi nahi and khudko contender maan bhi nahi raha mai.. Aise mai NITIE ko lekar chinta horahi.. koi tips ya koi kuch bhi bata paaye badi kripa hogi.. 🙏🙏🙏

Post Interview thoughts:- In my first attempt I was so naive that I thought a 99 percentile would fetch me calls for all IIMs. May be it was because I prepared on my own that I focused much on prep than the admission criterias or the fact that the test series which I enrolled said that 99+ would be sufficient, back then. Now that I wrote cat again, I know what it requires and I tried for it. Let this information bias be not the reason for another candidate. If someone from pg or telegram or some prep group asks you 'what are my chances or what percentile I require to get calls from so and so college' help the person out. All it takes is few minutes of your time. If you said the person she/he need 99.99 then may be they are capable once they know. Don't just blatantly say the number you like . And moreover don't bias your opinion on categories. Even though someone has a reserved seat, they have their difficulties. So, don't say ' bas 95 sei aapko calls ajayega' . These tend to make students take granted of their reservation. Help your mates out. Period. P.s:- Do check the percentile vs percentage figures of pre 2020 cat as this year marks were skewed lower side
Converted KJ and IMT-H. KJ seems like an obvious choice but I have to take education loan. KJ fees = almost 20L, IMT-H = 7.5L (With scholarship). Which should I choose?
