Rural India is a vast ecosystem. Nearly 70% of the population lives in villages, making Rural India a market of nearly 900 mn consumers. This sheer size makes it an important target segment for marketers, both Indian and multi-national. Besides the private sector, cooperatives, development agencies, and government entities are also deeply involved in understanding this segment from a marketing perspective.
Rural Marketing is not without its peculiarities and challenges, however. The complexity has only increased due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To discuss the nuances of Rural Marketing, IIHMR University is organizing a webinar on "Demystifying Rural Marketing During COVID Times: Opportunities & Challenges". The webinar is on August 18, 2020, from 05:00 PM - 06:00 PM, will be an industry-academia collaboration with Mr. Benjamin Mathew, Head of Strategy, MART, and Mr. Anirban Chaudhuri, Marketing Faculty, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon coming together to help the audience understand this topic. The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Sheenu Jain, Associate Professor, and Marketing Chair - Marketing & Communications at IIHMR University, Jaipur.

MBA is total scam, have given 4 years prep to CAT and after coming into B School, I can say that all this is shit, Rather those looking for job security and stable life should try for SSC-CGL & RBI Grade B. Corporate life looks glamorous but IMS, TIME & CL wont tell you that, they are just selling the CAT exam to you guys, be prepared for the real scam MBA and dont get too involved into CAT, ask yourself before writing CAT that are you ready to do a course where everything is luck based be it placements, competitons , CGPA at MBA to get that coveted job in IB or Consulting - The Goldman Sachs of the world, The MBBs you all are dreaming of, let me tell you something, working for 13-15 hours in these so called prestigious jobs would give you max 1.5L in starting and shit work life balance means you would be stressed out and frustrated after 3 months and would want to quit after all its 1 Life , why not have a balance for everything and not just work, on the other hand jobs such as SSC & RBI would give you respectable 60K+ and that too no job security issues, and in this shit scam corporate everything is based on their shitty HR policies where they can fire you anytime , and their affection for so called DIVERSITY is you all know right, so think twice before doing an MBA and dont run after CAT just for the sake of it , I am giving you all this GYAAN not just like that, I did the same mistakes and dont want any other noble person to suffer, for any more MBA related info you can reach out to me, Afterall Helping noble people gives the best satisfaction.
I know this is going to be an off topic thing, and I already am pretty much burnt out due to excessive mocks, thus looking out for a respite. Is Little Things S2/3 any good? I've heard excessive praise for this series being a realistic version of our lives and hence contemplating watching it since it's available on Telegram. 🙈

I'd get straight to the point: during this ghastly time of uncertainty looming over your heads due to the COVID thing and then those additional worries regarding your profile, job, and your mock scores faltering, add on the task of balancing out the other professional certifications alongside to improve your profile, do not ignore your own mental health, please. It takes no longer to get consumed by the fear and then completely sulk into the abyss. I've got a friend who was depressed for months and have seen that guy completely transforming into someone I never knew.
COVID hit us so fast, and disrupted our lives so substantially, that we haven't had time to adjust our feelings and reactions to it. It was just here, overnight, and we're still trying to live our lives the way we used to when that's just not an option. And like I mentioned, this is very, very common for so many people out there. If you are experiencing this it doesn't mean you're weak or bad or unworthy or any of the other absurd labels cultures have taught you to put on yourself. It means you're a healthy person in very difficult times who is going through something that is completely normal for a hooman to feel.
I know we're all ambitious, we're all worried about staying employed as layoffs pile up, but remember that you can't help yourself or your families or your dreams if you let those awful hours eat you up. If you're going through such a time, take a day off, spend it with your family or listen to those tunes you used to hear during your childhood to feel nostalgic. Do anything that helps you feel good. And if you just want to talk, do it. I'm there and can surely lend you minutes off my day if it helps you feel better about yourself and come out of that corner. And additionally, if you're a CFA L1 candidate like me, feel free to take my notes away since I've compiled them over the countless hours and you wouldn't need to make them for yourself :)
Don't be the goofy guy who smiled and told jokes all the time, but hasn't smiled for months.
