IIM Rohtak interview: Date-Feb 22 Venue-Mumbai WAT: Was demonetization boon or bane ? PI: 30 sec extempore: Women in defence forces. 1) A few questions about my research paper. 2) Wanted to know about my company. 3) Find derivative of |x|. 4) You mentioned travelling as your hobby. Tell me about it more. 5) Which is your favourite aircraft ? 6) Why supersonic jets are not commercially viable ? 7) Explain the concept of aerofoil and Bernoulli Theorm. (Facepalm: Why do they expect a computer science engineer to know fluid dynamics ?) All seems to have gone well except the last thing which I believe might screw my interview. 😓

What is the truth about verification check at top MBA colleges say IIM A, NMIMS, IITs. How do they check if someone has worked abroad. Do they also check joining date and leaving date. Also the salary is sometimes given in their own currency which has to be included in the package but not mentioned in salary slip. What if someone has forged their work-ex docs like exp certi and changed the joining and relieving date. Can someone pls throw some light on this?

I am a GEM with 2+ years of workex at Cognizant. I have scored 84.10 %ile (VA/DILR/QA – 79/92/75) in CAT 2019. I have very avg acads – 81.71 in 10th, 70.83 in 12th, 69 (7.65 DGPA) in engineering.
This was my first serious attempt. Before this I had taken CAT but without much preparation. But I believe, on the D day i could not perform upto my potential as my mock scores were better than this.
I have calls from TAPMI and KJ Somaiyaa. I am interested in Operations. If I convert TAPMI (consiering TAPMI is much better than KJ for Ops), should I go for it or retake CAT?

I know it's early to ask but in case I convert, I will have very less time to decide.

If the first term of NDA government was defined by the fight against parallel economy, the second term is possibly looking at simplification of tax regime as another of its objective. Two announcements related to direct taxes bear this out.

Is GIM Operations a good choice? Considering the fact that i am 2017 passed out with 2 yrs exp. or is it okay if i try another year of CAT?
