ย I kind of wonder why does it take so much time for a shortlist..Dont they have to just sort people from highest to lowest and select the top 1000 and the score of the 1000th aspirant becomes the cutoff for general. Isn't it just a few hours task.

Just came across this while packing up the suit after IIML yesterday : The first page of the copy I maintained of my mistakes and mock analysis+concepts I was weak in. I started at a time when many of my peers had gone on to confirm their slots at top notch colleges and I was sitting in a PG in Hyderabad, alone and dejected. That emotion has stayed with me, even though I've made my way out of that situation. Understand this may seem irrelevant, but believe me, it's relevant.
