Done with IIM A awt pi today. Good awt and A middling PI. I squeezed ubermensch into awt lol. Would've posted the entire experience if I had reckoned it useful for those below 10 years of work ex.

It's been ages since I typed something and I hope it doesn't look ungainly. Panel of two young professors. Am too drained to check them on faculty page. Me: Good afternoon Sirs. P1: Good afternoon, please be seated. Me: (sitting down) : Thank you. P1: You look like Prakash raj. Me: Smile P1: okay tell me why do you want to go for an mba at this point of time in your career? Me: I have learnt some things related to finance at a psu bank. I hope to learn more and switch to a professional corporate setup in 2 years. (Then preempting their next question) I was rejected by a couple of top IIMs 10 years back. I didn't take to it kindly. So I have stayed away from CAT all these years. But last year my wife pushed me to give one more go by saying I didn't stop pursuing her after her initial rejection. I asked myself if I am going for an MBA for the right reason unlike the case in which I was just following the herd 10 years back and convinced myself. P2: Let me give you a business scenario. If I want to be an intermediary between housewives who sell lunch boxes and office goers who order them, how should I go about my business? Me: Most of the restaurants enlisted at zomato and swiggy are like this where they have a domestic setup and cook the food at home and sell under different names. So you should ideally be looking at tier 2 and tier 3 cities which haven't yet been captured by these giants. Approach the midsized companies with 50-100 employees and you can offer them good deals for the initial period. P2: Should I charge the cooks for this service? Me: Absolutely yes. As someone who cooks occasionally for my wife, I know it wouldn't cost more than 20. Obviously the cooks will be having higher margins. So we should charge from them. P1: Are you sure you can cope up with the academic rigours of our Institute? Me:Yes, with just one month of preparation, I scored good in cat. Though it's not a benchmark as I have always done well in aptitude. I went through the courses taught at iim a and the blog of a professor. P1: Which post of his did you like? Me: mentioned a couple of posts and then the discussion switched to cryptocurrency and basel norms. Some questions on Indian gdp and ppp. I could have done better here. P1: some questions about the merits of government giving cash to citizens to make up for jobs lost due to AI Me: linked it to the levels of motivation to work going down by mentioning us jobless claims rising despite economy improving. P1: Do you have any questions for us? Me: How would it be for someone like me having 10+ years of work ex to assimilate with the culture at iima? P1: People would expect you to take the lead during class discussion and come up with diverse viewpoints. It may be a negative too as it may set high expectations on you but you should do well provided you focus and work hard. me: thank you. P1: What other calls do you have? Me: All top 6 except I. P1: Take a toffee Me: Thank you. (Taking one) have a good day.
I have studied couple of subjects from my graduation for my interviews but still I have been asked from other subjects even after having workex .So can anyone share some links or documents where I could brush up the other subjects from Computer Science. TIA

Has anyone else become so hopeless because of their interviews that they have completely given up on prep? I haven't studied for a single hour for interviews in the last 5 days. And most of my best interviews are still pending. I know I might regret wasting time later on, but at this point I really don't care about the outcome. I am just fed up.
