Can someone please highlight what does the normalisation of 12/ 10th std marks mean? How do we calculate it? Do all IIMs follow it? I missed out on IIM Lucknow due to this. If they take my percentage of 12th I should have got shortlisted but they take percentiles. And God knows what's it. Please help!!

Guys here I am also one of the candidates as you people, this is my second time i have given cat. I am seeing people over here sharing their cat score profile etc. But to make this process much more standardized I made a Google sheet, where you people can upload your scores /profile. This will help understand us who are getting calls and final convert.

Which institute is good for gdpi preparation in Delhi?
I still remember I took my first CAT in 2016 like any mock aptitude test and got 86%ile with extremely poor %ile in VARC. That day I understood that I need to breakdown the examination pattern and sharpen my skills in the three sections as much as possible and tune the preparation to my requirements. As I got a couple of months after college free being unemployed I started preparing intensively and score 99.5+ in CAT 2017,99.96(XAT). I made it to MDI, IIM-Trichy,Udaipur and other new IIMs but screwed my interviews at IIM-C,XLRI, IIT-M,IIM-S. I had a feeling that I shouldn't compromise so I chose to better my profile and retry next year. But in 2018, I could not gather time partly due to interviews/second thoughts on joining colleges/job and really regret wasting it. I didn't prepare at all and appeared for the CAT as my first and last mock of the season. I scored around 95%ile in that. This time I came to my senses in September and tried to give my best but could only cross 98%ile mark, VARC being the one letting me down. I really do wish that it were my in VARC but unfortunately it wasn't at all. I analysed and found that I had scored decently in the attempted RCs but found hard luck with VA(TITA) questions. I missed out on close calls and missed out on capitalising on such ques. 87,95,99 are my respective %iles in slot 1. This post is nothing but a reminder for me that I have not given up yet and hopefully by reading this again sometime in the future I will stop thinking of giving up if ever that thought comes to my mind due to whatsoever circumstances. Do you think ssc cgl 2018 final results be out before iim admissions ?i am a upsc aspirant... So want to prepare for that too... If i get an iim... Probably that will ruin the chances of pursuing upsc dreams further... Anyways I won't get short listed for ABCL

It can be inferred from IIM Lucknow shortlist that cut off for EWS is gonna be equivalent to obc this year. People like me who are working are going to get screwed because of this.....
