Hey guys , (this is for those of you that have lost hope in getting a good college) I went through a similar feeling while preparing for CAT.During The month of August ,September and October my mock scores were way below average and 2 digit numbers.I would usually come to PaGaLGuY to check how other people had done in the AIMCAT /SIMCAT I had just written and surely almost everyone who posted their scores had done better then me.I would also regularly read posts of Mr.RajRoy C , where he would say that if you were not hitting 120 then there is no point in trying for 150 or if you are still unable to score 130+ in your mocks that you should forget targeting the top IIMs.(he’s been particularly pessimistic this season during CAT preparation for some reason, according to me atleast ) You know it’s easy to lose hope pretty quickly when you see people around you being pessimistic. I would after read Mr. RajRoy C’s post and that caused major self doubt, but I learnt a very important lesson ,every person is different , each persons problems are unique , each person learns at different rates and you can’t put everyone in the same basket . No one can judge your talent or your hard work, only you can and if you think it’s possible then it’s on you to work hard and prove it to yourself. PS: I never scored a 99+ score in any AIMCAT or SIMCAT this season , towards the end my scores were consistently over 95 +and now in CAT 2019 I got 160+.So believe in yourself , there are great peers on this platform whose optimism and journey has shown me that I can do better (like @Arsene96 etc). “You need to believe in yourself and your abilities because if you don’t then no one will”

Guys I had been preparing for GMAT but I appeared in CAT and have scored 145 overall in slot 1. I have 49 months of work ex as in CAT form. My annual package is around 14 and I am highly frustrated from my job. So do you think I should prepare for CAT interviews or it is not worth(btw I'm GEM and not too much interested in going abroad).
