can someone please tell me what calls can i expect and what are my chances of converting them 

this is my drop year and hence final cat attempt 

all the people who can provide some insight please do so as it would be really helpful

 Hi all,  

I am listing my exp last year. It might provide some clarity. 

Disclaimer: Its just my experience which might or might not be applicable this year. 

My profile 

GEM 88/89/79 IN 10/12/GRADUATION 

CAT 2018 Percentile: 99.54 

Work exp : 36 months  

My converts last year: IIMK, IIMS, MDI, All new IIMs, IIT D, NITIE

Waitlists: IIML, IITB

IIM A/B/C : did not receive the shortlist 

IIM l: if your 10/12 are screwed i.e less than 90 , just forget I 

IIM K: received and converted because of high preference to cat percentile last year 75% last year. This year they have changed the criteria drastically. 

IIML: It heavily relies upon your gender, academics and work ex. I remember distinctively that my score was just 0.4 marks above minimum shortlist marks. 

IIM S: Cat cutoff was 98.6 with simiilar academic credentials. Girls and non GEM can receive a call at at low 90s percentile New IIMS: cut off was 95 percentile but actual cut off for conversion is way above MDI: cut off for shortlist is 96 percentile but for PGPM, Don't expect a conversion for anything less than 98. I know only one person who converted at 98 percentile and many who could convert at upper 98 and lower 99 percentile. NITIE: initial cut off is 93+ in all the sections and 97+ overall. Rest it depends heavily on your interview and GDPI 

FMS: For GEM with 80+ in 10/12, 99.1 is for initial shortlist but for conversion you need atleast 99.7 percentile Spjimr: It's a black box. You can get a call at 95 percentile and you might not even get a call at 99+ percentile. 

IIT Delhi DMS: initial percentile for shortlist is 98 for general MBA and 97 for Telecom 

IIT BOMBAY: initial percentile for shortlist is 98.5  

For IIMA, you need to have a stellar profile,last time even people with 99.8+ in cat did not get a call.
