can anyone tell me the answer of the ques which goes like this the average of 30 numbers is 5 what will be the highest average for 20 numbers, something like this Ā SLOT -2 QA
One of my seniors from college got a whopping 99.72 percentile in CAT 2018. But to his dismay, he didn't even get calls from IIM ABCL. He got a call only from IIM K which he failed to convert. I thought his past academics must be really poor to have not been able to get a call even from L at that percentile. Upon being asked, I found out that he had acads of 82/77/7.1. Is it really the case that old IIMs won't even consider our case if past academics are not upto the mark?
Every coaching institute has its own 'percentile predictor' and hence I'm really confused. So till the answer key comes out and I see the actual outcome of my VARC gamble, can anyone tell me what percentile will a score of around 152 (slot 2) map to?
Am I the only one who thinks that the expected 99 percentile cutoff predicted as 160+ is too high ? I think a tough VARC section is the kind of section that does a lot more damage than just a tough Quant/DILR section. Entire RC's could go wrong and others left unattempted... not to mention the parajumbles that looked like 4 random sentences thrown together (Talking abt Slot 2).
I'd bet the 99 percentile cutoff would lie more closer to last year's - 150 ish...
