solution of the problem is quite lengthy..
as per the given info ,range of ages of all is as follows
2=9 yrs
2=9 yrs
4=81yrs
4=18 yrs
and chandu is kappor's son,sudhir is gupta's son
hence all the possibilities are-
A= 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 yrs
R=2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 yrs
c= (A*R)=as ajit is older than or equal to rajesh so if ajit is 2 then rajesh could be 2,if ajit is 3 then rajesh could be 2 or 3,if ajit is 4 rajesh could be 2 or 3 or 4 so all the possibilities of age of chandu are-

so this will reduce the possibilities of chandu's age to-

@seetharam7 : if u say this years CAT is tough then lemme tell u the good news.. XAT has always been tougher than this level 😁 ....key is selectivity in each section...its nt a speed based paper...accuracy is the playmaker...i rembr attempting jus 6 qns in qa and getting a call for hr last yr...and DM portion is ambiguous than the worst CAT RCs...anyways ATB :)

2.When did u start preparation.= started a month back
3.Books u have or plan to buy. = i have couple of books for quants other than that no idea
4.Number of Hours a day u give to CAT preparation. = 2 to 3 a day since i work till 8pm
5.Weak section/Strong section. = not sure
6.Institutes u wish to apply to IIM offcourse
