Btw ,the new IIM C criteria means that a guy getting 100%ile is equivalent to a girl getting 96.1 ๐ ( the weight of 77 in the iimc criteria is for the %ile score, right? or is it for the score/450?)
@[526706:pradyothcjohn] its actually your 77% of (individual score/Highest score) rt ?
In case it's the score out 450 that they are considering, girls will have a head start equivalent around 17 marks /450 in cat..that'd be much better,it would mean that girls would get a call at 99.3,and guys at around 99.7,i guess..that's not too bad..
@[533596:Kevin88]
@[514195:seetharam7] Your answer is rt.. the main issue in such q's for me is the problem in solving it in less than 2-3 min
i generally leave such trial & error ones after wasting a gud 3-4 min !!

Reverse values for k and r also possible. So total 16. (24,24) repeats. So, final answer 15.Can anyone suggest an easier method from (2) rather than trying values ?
In a class of 30 students, there are 2 categories of students:
Liars: who always lie.
Truth Tellers: who always speak the truth.
These students make three different statements as follows:
Statement I : 7 of them say โ There are exactly 7 Liars in this classโ
Statement II : 8 of them say โ There are exactly 8 Liars in this classโ
Statement III : The rest of them say โ There are exactly 15 Liars in this classโ.
How many Liars are there in the class?
