If there was a dislike option, i would have done it to the above post. Its a sad day. Giving preference to gender above ability.
@[495113:joethaliath] wtf yaar.IIMC too. This can't be happening.Do you guys know that this year male students have to pay Rs 900 to write GATE( for M-Tech admission) while its absolutely free for girls. What does the Indian Constitution mean when it says there is right to equality?
we better go for a gender change , in this age - being a male general engineer is the biigggest crime!
@[495113:joethaliath] The biggest curse today is being a GENERAL category male engineer π
Hmm..guess there's nothing we can do about it except work a little bit harder and get a better CAT score..
@[397955:rohan_bhasker] @[526706:pradyothcjohn] : i think its better to prioritize cat ryt nw dan whimpering over iimc criteria...anyway they require 99.6+ for General people..so lets raise the stakes to 99.8+.. π ...ATB
anyone has previous mock papers ? I have last yrs time...
@[149515:dead_alive] Just search on google. You will usually get links to 4shared containing pdfs of the mocks.
other than @[514195:seetharam7] 's search idea , does anyone have it as an email attachment ?
in CL mocks , the overall cut -off is different from the marks obtained by adding sec -1 cut off and sec-2 cutoff . Does the real CAT also follow the same ?

Find the sum of all the factors of 18000 which are divisible by 8 but not by 25
@[526706:pradyothcjohn] @[533596:Kevin88] @[397955:rohan_bhasker]
@[514195:seetharam7] 18000= 2^4 X 3^2 X 5^3 To satisfy the given condition, the power of 2 has to be 3 or 4 and the power of 5 has to 0 or 1. so there are a total of 2 X 3 X 2= 12 possible factors. Now, to sum them, take 2^3 as a common factor and you get 2^3(1+3+9+5+15+45+2+6+18+10+30+90)= 2^3 x 234= 1872
