Hey ppl.. yes we are about, say 4-5 months..... I wanted to know wher u ppl prepare the DI and LR part from?

i think time material and solving mocks is more than enough
Joe.. me too solving mocks & going though the time material...
Puys on a general note, what are your strategies while attempting S1...do you guys skim through the paper in the beginning or keep some sort of buffer at the end? & if so how much of a buffer would be adequate? I always fall short on this end!!!
Way to go sriraman.. U're definitely on track... Just make sure that u dont burn ure self out with all the mocks...
I would say 2 mocks a week would suffice... but at the end of the day.. its you who must decide based only on the output you gain from each mock...
Ensure that you analyze all the ones you do attempt...
Well regarding my prep.. not much to say the least... hence the silence...procrastination & laziness have always been by life long allies...
Just writing mocks & going through the time material on the side...:wow: Puys do you guyz go through the entire time/cl/ims material ?
Hi Kevin.Glad to hear from u bro.:DI couldnt take 1316 as i was away from town.Taking 1315 2moro.Will let all of u know the outcome.Preparations are going great.I'm going through the entire TIME material and ARUN SHARMA's 3 books,as there is enough time left before the D-day.

Yes.I skim through the questions and bookmark only the questions which are easily solvable.Only after doing this do i start attempting. This would just take you 2-3 minutes but it ensures that you dont leave any sitter unanswered.

Good question I also wanted to know the same...
and yes , I will try putting Rohan's strategy at test in the next mock , have tried it b4 but i always end up not enforcing it strictly
Hi guyz, gave aimcat 1315 and made it to the toppers list with 98.8%.Couldnt give cl proc 4 as i was away from town. But took it in unproctored mode and scored 99.24%.Started working on DI.I guess that is the reason why my score is improving. What about u guyz.Howz your scores?Seems this thread has become a bit inactive as of late.Hope everyone's preparations are going well
Woe now this group is teaming up. Guys any idea of how tosolve Di? I am doing a lot of mocks and analysing it, always ending up in 40 to 50 mark lists. Where shoukd I focus on Di from? I have been practicing one whole set of Preivious Aimcats forDi. Is there anythng good about Arun Sharma DI? Also how is the totalgadha Quant classes?
Hi Ajay .The only way to crack DI is through practice. The thing about DI is that it can kill a lot of time in the exam if you dont know the mental algorithm to solve a particular question type beforehand. The thought process for solving a di problem if instantly known would help you save a lot of time by avoiding unnecessary calculations.i know that even practicing di can sometimes be a headache, but there is no other way.Arun Sharma DI is a good book. The initial exercises are very easy and involves basic interpretation. But as you do the LOD1,2,3 you'll get the hang of things. Also the DI material of TIME is also really good. All the best........
NMAT notification is already out... Registration began today...oh my God !! the season is slowly startin off... Expect the CAT notification to be out very soon...We are moving in onto the business end!!
Hi..i am new here..gave CAT a try in the last 2 years..got 61 and 75 %iles. Joined the TIME AIMCAT series yesterday. Missed 6 Aimcats and will be missing the 7th one also :(. Hope to be active on pagalguy atleast this time. Can someone please recommend the threads on PG that would help ( There are too many of them)
Hi seetharam7.Welcome to the group.Dont worry about having missed a few aimcats. It is the analysis of the aimcats which you need to concentrate on.Ever since pagalguy took up an new avatar,it is difficult to locate the threads than before. But some threads i would reccomend are LR-DI for cat,How to improve in section I of cat, how to improve in section II of cat, official quant thread for cat etc
