guys for those who dont want to do extreme gaming [ so basically not a i5, i7 processor and a big graphic card ] ..... i would suggest u these 2 .... having a 14 inch screen makes the laptop lighter and gives extra battery life than 15 inch screen....!!!

Sony Vaio is worth spending even if its expensive...

@vishal.das buddy i agree i5 , i7 processor will help a bit more for multitasking ...... but y go for i5 or i7 if I3 can do the job in almost same time ..... i7 does have some heating issues which reduces ur battery life and also can cause melting of ball bearings in the graphic card !!!! .... i am using core2duo and can multitask on it !!!! HAAN IF u want to use heavy applications like photoshop and multitask with the same [ like photoshop and fifa together , then i5, i7 will be better , else i3 will do the job .......]

I am not saying i3 is not good As far i mba is concerned mostly i3 and i5 is enough but looking in future prospective after mba i5 or i7 might be helpful. I am mba student i have vaio i5 and i dont play games..only movies 😛

@vishal.das even i am saying i3 or i5 .... but for those who dont have the budget for i5 [like me] can go for i3 , it will do the job too !!!
1. I3 without external graphic card
2. I3 with dedicated graphic card
3. I5 without dedicated graphhic card
4. I5 with dedicated graphic card
if i have 32-33 k rupees then i will go for the 2nd option of these 4 .... if money aint a problem then one should go for the 4th option !!!
ok iam purely looking for portability and for study purpose...no games no movies no timepass etc....i want it to be carry-along device.

You can go for Mac book air or ultrabook or netbook..with screen size b/w 11-13 inch

Check this site i found few model nos...prices may change upon different websites..but it will be less than 40k..for sure..
