Thanks for youe advice, but shoud i go fro i3 or o5 processor, going by my needs mentioned in above posts.
Did you encounter any bad experience with acer..

my friend had acer laptop he told it get heated very fast..dont know abt others but he faced lots of prob..

Puys which is the best way to buy a Dell laptop? Should I order through their website? How much time will the delivary take? How abt flipkart or shud I take it from Dell Dealers? PLz help and best config for 37-42 K Range???

I came to know about this ASUS K53V - SX520D laptop.
It comes for 39K and comes with awesome specifications (especially if you are a gamer).

Buy it through the dell website, it's safe and easy. I received my laptop within 7 days of making the payment.

Even if u go to dell showroom they will also buy it by online mode only

go to tilak road in pune mate . . . best place for laptop stuff if you r in pune.

or else check online on flipkart etc as they have started selling hardware now

Puys....an alternative....

If anyone has a 25k to 45k budget and wants to buy a laptop for mostly office use and little bit of music & video use, i suggest you buy an Android Tablet...

Costs the same but much more portable, lots of apps available in the Android Market, they also run MS Office....
And many, like the ASUS Transformer Prime are available with a keyboard dock....

Best android tablets are ASUS Transformer Prime, Samsung Galaxy 10.1, Motorola Xoom, Sony Tablet S, etc.....

i dont think thats a good idea mate . well it depends on how old laptop is .But i think for any budget decent laptops are available 😃

I just bought Dell XPS..it's amazing and sound quality is ossum.Dell employees can get you up to 12 % discount as well

I have a two year old Dell XPS, and it still runs games like Skyrim, Mass Effect and GTA without so much as a hiccup....awesome machine....

i searched net and found laptops for Rs 20-25k.of HP.Lenovo and other brands only thing is the laptop doesnt come with original windows will that be a problem at b school.

Good one..i would suggest go with i-5 processor if budget is not an constraint

all buying laptops should wait til the end of the year as theres windows 8 coming out next gen intel ivey bridge processors 😃
