hp doesnt offer complete cover warranty.. i used dis laptop; i din find much of a problem wid dis one.. so cant realy state nethin i found lacking

the sony laptop has better hard disk speed(7200rpm), better web cam, and better screen resolution and switchable graphics
the hp has much better graphics card, liitle light and much cheaper and runs a little cool then sony

I would disagree on one point... the sony model has the better graphics card also... And if the price is not an issue, then, it would be better to go with the sony model...

sony model has ddr3 1 gb graphics where as hp has ddr5 1 gb
