There's a prob in the application... not all centers for gdpi r listed in there.... like i've mine on 12th @ bbsr n its not there in the list.. hope the mods r taking a note of it.....

Yes... it's mentioned in the call letter.


None of the BIMTech seniors available here @ Pagalguy ?
Wud be sumwat helpful if we cud be briefed on wat the process wud be like.

guys please tell me that BIMTECH conducts the essay writing round like as an entry round for GD? I mean if u get selected through Essay writing round then only they will call you for GD or everyone who got call, get chance for GD as well as PI?

none of the 3 stages are the elimination round for the next. Rather a cumulative score is worked out from your performance in each of the rounds and then based on the score they decide whether u're selected or not.

Not sure about the exact figure.But,like the previous years , so far , everyone above 70 has been given a call.


THIS IS 4 PPL WHO DIDN'T GET CALL

Dear Candidate,

Kindly read the below mentioned details & if you have any more doubts
related to GD/PI call letters or BIMTECH application form filling
kindly contact the admission office on given tel. nos.
(0120-2323001-10, extn. 331/332/330)
-We are going to send the gd/pi calls through email to all the
selected who opted the gd/pi location as Greater Noida till 3rd of
February, 2011. We will dispatch the hard copy of the call letter by
the same day.
-The gd/pi calls are already sent to outstation gd/pi location
candidates through email and we are going to dispatch the hard copy of
the call letter to them tomorrow.

NOTE: -

Keep checking your email id for the gd/pi call letter. The candidate
has to bring their gd/pi call letter (original copy) with them along
with the documents mentioned in the call letters. In case the
candidate will unable to get the hard copy of the call letter on time
due to any reason then he/she can bring the print out of the call
letter which they received through email with them along with the
documents.
- Last date to apply at BIMTECH was January 31, 2011. CAT cutoff
required for short listing for gd/pi: -
1. For PGDM & PGDM (IB) 60%ile and above in CAT 2010
2. For PGDM (Retail Management/ Insurance Business Management/
Sustainable Development Programme) 50%ile and above in CAT 2010
If you will not be able to get the call till 5th of February then you
can contact the BITMECH admission office on given tel. nos.
(0120-2323001-10, Extn. 331/332/330).
The candidates who are applying through MAT Dec. 2010 & Feb. 2011 then
the dates to apply are still there.
Dec. MAT 2010 / Feb. MAT 2011 cutoff required for short listing for gd/pi:
The candidate who are going to appear in Dec. MAT 2010 / Feb. MAT
2011, They can apply For PGDM (Retail Management/ Insurance Business
Management/ Sustainable Development Programme only) with 80%ile and
above in MAT.
Process for applying through Dec. MAT 2010 / Feb. MAT 2011:-
-MAT appearing candidate can apply through downloaded form only and
they can fill the downloaded form and send it with DD of 1750/- to the
Institute add. (Given in the downloaded form) we will accept the form
till Feb. 15, 2011.
- The candidates who are applying through MAT their gd/pi will
be conducted in the month of MARCH, 2011(dates will be announced later
on).

Well dude if they are calling at 60 percentile then ofcourse yu stand a chance.. Conversion depends on other factors as well.. So good luck and Rock On @ GD/PI . ..!:thumbsup:
