now i call it a mistake on my part...but i did not read or join this forum prior to 16 Dec...
But now i have come to understand that SIBM is going to have sectional cut-off...
This has come quiet a shock to me as no where in the entire process has it been mentioned that there will be sectional cuttoff...
Also SIBM has made no effort to publicly clear out this difference in thier grading scheme...
Now i assume that SNAP organisers will say that they have no part in deciding how college grade their papers...but then again it should have been metioned or written in the form or paper...that so and so college is going to have a sectional cuttoff...
i did well but i planned my strategy as no sectional cutt off would be there i would highly concentrate on the better sections ....
i completely ignored the english section as i was planning to play only on my better sections like quant and logic...where the questions are short and u can score more...
but to my bad luck ...i have been left in a giffy...as to what am i supposed to do now...

Dude, preference sheet is something which u get along with the application form when u buy it. it comes inside the envelope which u buy.
u have preference in it like, if called for gd/pi which univ u wud prefer

SNAP and SIBM together have to accept the responsibility that they need to mention it clearly on the Paper and in the admission procedure that there will be sectional cuttoff...
AS we see it is clearly mentioned in CATS and other such competitive exams...
but being in job and other activities who has time to take up this matter....
But i guess some one will defiantely lead the path....hope there is some straw of hope for the people in this boat...

Im specifically asking this as total number of seats are increased from 180 last year to 180 + 150(Banglore) and it is mentioned that GDPI will be at the same time for both the campuses..

Sir, in my SNAP exam i did a blunder that is i wrote the centre's name in the place where i was supposed to put my signature:( but than asked the inviligator, he neatly cut the centre's name and i signed in the little space left there. My sign is clear and clearly visible and recognisable.
Sir will my OMR sheet be rejected for this???
Please reply and pacify my anxiety.

It will not be possible to comment on the final score at this stage, you will have to wait for the final results. As far as work-ex goes, it will definitely be considered if you are called for GD/PI. Laterals are just rocking in SIBM. Best of luck.

I have gone through your message and I personally feel that sectional cutffs should have been announced earlier, hence we are trying to propagate this message in all fora like CWS, Pagalguy etc. Secondly, if you do feel that SITM can help your career better than SIBM, I wish you luck and hope your dreams come true.
