Does SIBM consider Work ex?
If yes how much worth it will be for 1.5- 2 yrs in Software Industry...
Is there any concession on Cut-off for people with above work ex?
Hello Sir,
The cut-off for SIBM was 83 last year,
As the total marks is 180, could we expect a lower
cut-off this year?
Does SIBM have individual sectional cut-offs?
Please throw some light on this Sir...
Sir, this is regarding SIBM application. Apart from the SIBM form (which came in the brochure), do I need to submit any other document? I belong to the general category and have already taken SNAP.
hey sir can you pls tell me wat wud be da expected cut-off? I heard that last time the due date for applying to SIBM was extended...will that happen this year too?

Hello Sir,
1) SIBM prospectus says that along with filled form of SIBM we need to send the registration form of SNAP also. I have the copy of payment advice form but i do not have the copy of the registration form. The filled form is no longer available on my SNAP account. Is it fine if i send only payment advice form???? Pls reply as early as possible to what should be done now?
Moreover i was not aware of the fact that SIBM would ask for the above mentioned SNAP document, and that the form will be removed from the site before the last date for submission for the SIBM form, so i dint take a copy of it. Pls help.
2) apart from SIBM form, preference sheet, what else should be enclosed in the envelope that we send to SIBM?
What about the IMS cash receipt? 10th 12th mark sheets etc? pls mention!
3) In the preference sheet apart from my name they've asked for my SNAP 'registration' number! Do they mean my SNAP id???????
Pls reply as early as possible, as i need to send my application form.
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks and regards.

I expect a score of about 75. I may clear the total cut off but my GK score will not be higher than 3.5-4.. Would i get a call from SIBM, B'lore?
Hello Sir,
Are the cut-offs different for peole with experience and for people without any experience? Also, what is the fees for 2 year Full-Time MBA program (Finance) at SIBM, Pune and SIBM, Bangalore? I think this will be one major factor for selection of institute.
Regards,
Madhur
Sir,
I have in all 2.5+ years of experience in IT in Finance, Telecommunications and Messaging Domains. And I want to further my career in IT and hence am looking forward to a course which will strengthen my technological base and teach me managerial concepts related to IT. I nurse entrepreneurial aspirations after few more years of value adding work ex.
Considering that SIBM will add IT as one of the electives from this year i.e. for the first time, I would be thankful if you can give me details on the points below:
1) Course structure: Will this be industry driven? How will be balanced .. Technology and Management wise?
2) Entrepreneurship: How will this be encouraged? For ex: IIM A lets the students participate in the campus process even if they are 2yr old pass outs just to increase the risk appetite of the students.
3) Placement opportunities.
4) Infrastructure at Bangalore.
Thanks and Regards.
Sir, I have 2 queries..
1) Do we have to buy and fill different forms for different specializations of SIBM ??
2) Is there no speciailzation in SYSTEMS ??
Hi Sir,
The Online application details state the below:
Please also fill in the Preference Sheet provided in the application kit giving your choice of campus.
Students who have not received the preference sheet in the kit need to specify preference of campus by either writing separately on a sheet or by writing on the application form itself as the programme was not announced earlier.
I am not convinced on how to go about this one, can you please confirm where exactly in my form do I mention the preference, somewhere in a corner?
Also, will u suggest if I write it on a separate paper and enclose the same with the application form? (do I need to write it in a letter format?)
I want to apply to both the institutes.
Also, do the placements for both SIBM Bangalore and Pune happen on equal terms, like combined placements instead of seperate placements.
The example I can specify where it happens in is IIFT wherein both IIFT Delhi and Kolkata placements do not see any bias between them .Please help us clarify.
Thanks an Regards,
Vinay
Hi Pranab,
I bought the SIBM form when i bought the SNAP form itself.I was enthusiastic at that time to do well in SNAP.But in SNAP,in the English section, i could do only 6-7 questions. As SIBM considers sectional cut-offs, i know i'll not get a call from SIBM.Is it possible now to sell my SIBM form to someone else? There is one friend of mine who is interesed in SIBM, but not sure whether he should take the form from me or should take it from the institute itself on his name. Please guide me.
Thanks in advance,
Waiting for your reply.

Hi Seniors,
I wanted 2 ask 3 questions.
Firstly,I wanted 2 know wht will be the expected cut-offs 4 SIBM this year...As i'm from reserved category(S.C) will the cut-offs be different from general category..If yes by how much...
Also wanted 2 know bout the fees & if loan facility is available..
Lastly,I hv done my B.E this year in telecommn but dont hv any work-exp,so do i hv a chance of getting in2 SIBM??wht is the profile of your batch..are there any freshers?
hey....I have a query...
While fillling the SNAP registration form i was not aware and had entered my ICSE perc as "Best of 5" as the ICSE percentage calculation rule is and for Class 12 (ISC) I entered "best of four" percentage as the ISC calculation rule is.But Now I have realized that I should have given my aggregate percentage including all subjects and hence given the same in the application form of the various institutes.
will this cause a problem in my candidature?
GUD MORNING SIR , I AM DR. ANAND TUTEJA FROM HYDERABAD. I JUST WANTED TO ASK ABOUT SECTIONAL CUTOFFS. I MEAN WILL THEY BE VERY HIGH OR A BIT LESS. Hello Sir,
Thanks a lot for devoting your precious time in handling the queries of so many SIBM aspirants.:)
Sir I just wanted to ask you whether SIBM considers work experience ( and the overall profile) of the candidate before giving a call for GD/PI.
I mean, for example, if a fresher gets a call at abt 85 marks, can a guy with a wrk ex. of 2+ yrs in India's leading Software Company expect to get a call at abt 80-82?
Please advice.
Thanks & Regards
