Can you people please throw some light on median salary package.I am having 2.5 yrs exp in IT industry.
1)Is it really worth to take the IBM course as only one specialization we can choose (which is not the case for PGDM?)
2)What are the last year's batch cat %tile range in IBM course and ratio of workex people in IBM(It is already said 1/3 for PGDM)
3)Is IBM a subpart of Marketing?
4)Future expectation in terms of Placmt packages in IBM course.As in MDI/IMT has the similar courses and they get less than PGDM people.
5)if i choose IBM(Finance) then would i be eligible for finance based company's recruitement only.
6)How summers plcmt has gone for current batch in IBM.
7)What is the general profile which companies are giving to Fore's student.Is it different from RM in Finance, BA in IT or operation specialization.
kindly give me correct picture about the IBM course and it's expectation in future.If possible kindly revert back. i am getting PGDM in other college but want to know more about FORE's IBM programme.

myself wrking n have 2 plan accordingly....
Also in letter which we got it is mentioned we have to show our original certificates of academics and Work exp.....plzz let me know we have 2 submit at the time of submitting 1st installment i.e. 16-18 april or afterwards.....

Dude.. The certificates and testimonials need to be shown at the time of registration i.e. 13th June(most prob.) according to FORE officials and not during the payment of 1st installment et all.
FORE official said that the exact date of registration/commencement of course would be notified to us in due time. So.. no need to worry for that!

yes dude! i went to 3-4 banks yesterday...
the process of these loans is that the banks will directly pay the institutes and after completion of course there is a moratorium period. in this period you have to just pay the interest, calculated at simple interest process. the moratorium period is either 1 year of completion of course or 6 months of employment, whichever is earlier.

Yeah.. they issue the DDs in the name of the institutes only.
What I mainly intended to know is.. do they reimburse the 1st installment to us directly if we show them the receipt OR they'll issue the the amount in the name of the insti. and from there we gotta collect??
Will try to walk-in at some bank on saturday and get some 1st hand info.
Moreover, I require loan amount for the Hostel fees as well as the lappy amount... lets see!!:-)

But there's a silver lining... I got to talk to one FORE student and she said that ppl have done that previously(i.e. lappy loan thing). Maybe, after depositing the 1st install., they'll be affirmative.
OR we can even talk to the bank directly, maybe wo raazi ho jayen lappy amount k liye:smile:...

the previous session started on 15 june...so accordingly this session will aslo start in mid june.for the certificates you can call the institute @91-11-41242424-33..

Hey guys ... i m sorry for replying late ... actly i thot all the aspirants had shifted to orkut ... so there is a lot of activity here ...
As far as the questions about loan are concerned ... pls mail me at [email protected] ... one of my frnds has taken loan and i will ask her to contact u on ur mails ...
As far as the college life is concerned ... its cool ... and yes there is less of study and more of work ... projects, ppts, journals, etc. that we need to attend to ... baaki last minute study tau engineers know how best to do so dont worry about that ...
The exchange program ... yes anyone can avail ... this year also some of our seniors went to France ... there is the cost factor involved though ... u'll have to shell out money ...
Lots of places to hang out .... our college is strtategically located near ansal plaza, priyas, and saket ... but the 90% attendance hurdle needs to be kept in mind ... worth mentioning that hostellers really have a blast with all these places to go to ... the dhabas near the college are always bustling with activity ...
College crowd is really cool ... we'll all help u settle in wen u come to FORE ... give u test papers n stuff ... n some important inputs ... i understand that senior participation on pagalguy has not been as much as it had been earlier ... will try to work on that for those of u working in offices and orkut blocked ...
