vjaisri Saysin IB u cannot opt for dual specialization.. u can specialise in one of finance, marketing, hr, operations..

How is OP specialization in FORE........what r the kind of profiles offered by companies and which all companies come for recruitment in OP specilization....Also how is the lateral placement

1) check back with the website on the date given to you.. there might be another wait list.. but chances are less..
2) education loans need to be arranged by u only..

u can choose a specialisation in IB.. u will be learning abt that specialisation from an international perspective.. these are for ur electives.. other than that u'll have the core subjects.. these will be on international business..
i'vent been evn waitlisted despite 98.55 in cat,excellent gd tho a not so gud pi....can't understands the reason till now...but neways no grievances...probably has 2 do somethin wit my profile...or rather my shortcmings...but neways..seniors goin by past years records...is there any other chance of waitin list 2 come up after 21st....???

1) Marketing is the strong hold of FORE.. finance is also good in our college.. some companies that came on campus are HUL, eicher motors, tata motors, Stanc, ICICI, RocSearch, etc.. check it out on the website..
2) in our batch work exp to non work exp is roughly 1:3

since most of you will be joining FORE (i hope so for all those who wish to.) and my college (IIFT most probably) is right beside yours, this is just to know each other. i am sure that over the next 2 years buddies, we will have ample time to mingle.

Aren't laptops needed for the course!!??
Am asking this 'coz one of my friend called up the admissions office and requested them to provide the expenses break-up document for lappy,hostel fee and any other misc. expenses so that he can apply for all these in the loan.
The answer he got was "laptop is not compulsory here so we can't provide you the document for that." Moreover, the office personnel also said that there is no other misc. expenses!!
Is it true guys!!??
