i beleive hostel charges are extra [ last year was 12300/3months...amounting to arnd 1 lakh in 2 years]......
they have not mentioned anything about the hostel fees in the letter...
Yeah... guess we gotta get a separate form/declaration from the insti which will indicate other expenses such as hostel/lappy/books etc. Then only the bank will provide the loan for these expenses as well.
dude.. as u've already got ur letter and u r in delhi, u can enquire about these(if u got time) at the insti itself and let us know the details.
hostel fees will be increased this year.Moreover hostel is taken on lease by Fore.It does not enough capacity for PGDM people(source orkut :P) But there are many hostel around so there is no issues regarding availability but for loan one would need the required expenses (one can put rent+accom+sundaries in Misc section in application form-which does nt require proof i GUESS-ny bank xpert throw some light on this)

what is this time of registration when the following charges need to be paid? security deposit: 5000 library deposit: 3000 Alumni charges: 2000 journal subsc. :1125 students activities: 250 etc etc

dude there are lots of ppl(including me) who are not taking admission so subsequently the waitlist ppl will be granted admission and u mite be put in the waitlist...don't lose hope and check on 21st

the hostel fees are indeed extra.. the hostel is a leased one. the number of rooms are less. so people who have plans of staying inthe hostel send a mail to [email protected] requesting for details.
the hostel is good.. it has all the facilities. any other place u find will also be a 10 15 min walk away.. or even further. if u stay in the hostel u'll have many classmates and batch mates with u.. helps while studying for the exams :). also it'll be lots of fun..
staying outside privately also has its advantages. what i would suggest is to take up the hostel in the first year and then stay privately in the 2nd year..
the hostel has all the facilities.. it is a 10-15 min walk away.. if u r looking for a place to stay u'll find one in this dia only.. staying in the hostel means u'll have u r batch mates staying with u.. helps during exam times.. plus its a lot of fun..
staying privately too has its advantages.. what i wld suggest is to take up hostel in the beginning.. then later on u can move out.

de shaw and deloitte and jp morgan all came for finance.. marketing and finance have good placement offers- both in terms of profiles and packages..
hey someone said that there r not enough seats in the hostel. so, howdo they allot the hostel? will it b on a first come first serve basis or all the outsiders 'll get the hostel.
