i dont like the ... oye bubbly add. the belly buttons look stupid .. and not only that the voice of amitabh .. and .. sehwag .. are not good .. they kind of .. insult them ..
and fair and lovely add is also bad ... ever since mandira bedi joined cricket commentary .. women seem to be all set for a debut in cricket .. but i'm afraid .. it looks ridiculous .. sitting beside kris srikanth .. and yet getting the entire limelight ..

I agree with donB....that ad was uncalled for. Atleast they had the decency earlier to go after a similar colored cola.Dew trying to ridicule Thums up doesnt make sense at all.
dunno it has been mentioned b4 or not, but i absolutely HATED every harpic ad which had Aman Verma cleaning the toilets.........that damn f**king ad was always there, with close shots of toilets, whenever i sat down to have my food or just timepass , dunno how can ppl at the company allowed that stupid ad....

well abhishek i totally agree with ya.i just dont know how can any company show such senseless ads.apart from that i hate the new tata indicom ad where ganguly is shown singing. it just increases my dislike for the man. another ad that i hate is of sona chandi chavanprash !!

They really need to hav sum experts who make these ads or atleast make players sit and watch themselves. And yes SEHWAG sucks!!!!!! I cant dream to imagine myself using any thing that man endorses. no doubt that those ads suck, but i feel that what we also have to take into consideration is the fact that whether the targeted audience would appreciate it or not..
Take the case of IBP red lubricant where the truck driver is shown giving the analogy to a partially full lassi glass and more engine life, it was certainly a hopeless ad., but if it goes down well with the Truck driver Suraj community, then i must say that the adv. solved its purpose and i appreciate it.. Same is the case with Ujala washing powder. 4 boondo waala jingle sucked, but hey even i remember it, and there is some brand recall now..
yup, though the piece in question may be retrograde, boring, garish, or just downright stupid.... it's the target audience, and the brand recall which matter.
if you wanna take an example outside the ad world, have a look at the K serials. they do so damn well.
shabana azmi's SURF EXCEL wala ad ....though the intention of the ad seems to be gud, the content is a total crap .........."do bucket paani rojana hai bachana"
