One more heera telebrand ad is doing the rounds nowadays.
It is about some rudraksh or set of lucky charms,endorsed by someone who looks like Goga Kapoor.He used to be the patriarch in some soap.
this guy stares at us with his oily face in some dingy background.
scary to say the least.only a madman wud buy such a taveez and tie it around ones neck.

Sunil Pal had ridiculed these telebrands ads in the Great Indian Laughter Chal. quite well...esp. the hindi dubbing of these phoren ads !
I hate all the telebrand ads!!!
Worst thing is that..they have sprouted up on almost every channel n take up more than 5-10 minutes of the time slots at times..
Trying to cash in on people's inbuilt desire for money & beauty through C grade TV celebrities (ranging from smriti irani to mukesh khanna to shama sikandar to Fame gurukul's arpita..) & shamelessly lifted & then,dubbed commercials..
Worst of them all is "SLIM SAUNA BELT" n it's range of xerox copies under different names for every channel..(especially ZEE network) featuring blondes saying "Kya aap bhi aise flat abs chahte hain..?" in hindi.."kya motaape ne aapke jeevan ko narak banaya hua hai?..","kya aap vo bikini pehn-na chahti hain par pahan nahi paati..?

@hiflyer jee juss watched dat ad a few hours back Cudnt get a connection between what they have shown and the product.... But I suppose raat ko late aana galat kaam karke can b interpreted in many waz..
Like chori karna dhaaka dalna etc etc etc and other kaam like

Kunwar Ajay Sarees.... They show some clothes which are not even worthy of drapping on a DOG as a saree , they show it one by one kunway ajay saree No 1 , Kunwar ajay saree No 2 and the 10000 places where they conducted kunwar Kujay saree exhibition..
Huh!!!! Now comes the not even 5 paise worth punchline 'Kunwar ajay ho saree to sundar lage naari'
The NEW YAHOO AD.. What the hell.. A gal dancing or doing acrobatic or whatever and showing the features of YAHOO.. SUX.. How come YAHOO can come with sucha stupid theme..
And the rediffmail ad also.. The competition between Hooha exactly yahoo mail n rediffmail and showing how fast rediffmail is ..

Why Oh WHy did he have to do that? Is that a PR building sort of exercise or is it just that Ganguly's contract with Pepsi runs till 2007 and he is obliged to say whatever the Pepsi people want him to say :huh:

hey boss, why did he have to do that? Arrey he is no More in the team,no chance I guess of coming back. Aakhri paise kama rahe hai Dada. Aur Pepsi bhi sookhe ganne ki tarah nichod rahi hai Dada ko.U r right ,contract baaki hoga
And considering his Pogo chips ad and that stiff dance with Hritik for hero honda,he
has come a long way yaar.This is by far his best ad in my opinion.Really evokes sympathy.
The DLF ad which features an unshaved shahrukh is awful..... an unshaven saif looks fine .. but king khan unshaven ... no ways ....
I think DLF got all their ads shot the same day ..
