Many people have raised their voice against transparency of the entire recruitment process of 03/2015 now. I agree that all our hopes were very high because the number of seats was much higher. However, this does not give anyone a right to question AAI's credibility. Other PSU's that take online test do not publically disclose the marks of all candidates.

There are other PSUs that recruit through GATE, eg. IOCL, HPCL, GAIL, ONGC, NTPC, BHEL etc. They usually have two rounds Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates may get rejected on the basis of any of the two rounds. As far as I know, none of the PSUs provide any report card after the interview stating where and when the candidate failed. Same is the case with AAI.

By saying this I am not discouraging anyone from filing RTI to know their marks. People have a right to know their marks but if their marks are low then they should accept that their interview did not impress the interviewer. They should not try to withhold the process by going to court with hypothetical justification of their failure. It will only slow down the entire recruitment process.

If they have good marks they will surely get entry in second round.

Further, please do not the judge this recruitment process on the basis of a 4 year old recruitment process.

It has been a long time since aai declared the result of the online test for MANAGER COMMERCIAL Advt.02/2012 and 02/2015........now again they are sleeping.......

Did any of you guys who got selected for the post of ATC come to know about any update regarding the joining letter?? So far there has been no link in the website?? If the training has to be started on the last week of July intimation letter should come shortly ...right guys??

Why are people so concerned about others going to court?

Such cases have happened, and it is the Fundamental right of every citizen that has been bestowed by Art 16  and Art 14 of the Constitution, so it can be taken to court. For those who know AAI has been honest and sincere shouldn't be cared about all these stuff. But we all know, and yes we all know how fishy the current recruitment process smells. 

So yes, there will be some honest guys who did make it to ATC, who might have to suffer the plight, but that's how it is. 

AAI has never been an embodiment of transparency. (Most PSUs aren't). But in ATC 03/15 there has been a woeful lot of discrepancy.

To those unselected students despite having high marks,

I understand  how it feels when u get rejected after all d hardwork...we dnt knw where it went wrong....

1 ...may be d interviewer's fault (dint recognize ur caliber)...

2...may be it's urs ( dint succeed  in showcasing ur caliber )

both d cases, it happens not only in AAI ...may be in other interviews too...dat doesn't  make u people lesser than others who got selected...it's hard to decipher interviewer's outlook....sometimes it's all a matter of luck....

3rd reason .....as u all said if somebody  got selected by bribing then also why will they reject candidates having higher marks?..

( dis s not possible  unless there are a huge no of  candidates who bribed them ...i dnt think it's possible )

..they can easily reject guys having lesser marks  than others ;as there are more than 2000 candidates.....

if u still  believe there are discrepancies...ok let's think about d case

what will be its after effects ?

1....the recruitment will get delayed

2...it can be cancelled for ever

did u get justice?....is this all u want?....think about d honest ones who got selected....what will be there situation?...dey are in the same boat as urs...they r d unluckiest ones who r not deserved  to be happy even after they got selected...for some people it will be their first job (like me)...dont do it guys if no one gets beneficial from d case ...please dont do it...(from d day  i read about d case ...i'm here reading all d posts...worrying about  whethr u guys snatch my happiness away frm me....i really wrkd hard for this job lyk u all did...but if from d case  both u and me are not getting anythngl(if the recrtmnt gets cancelled) ...then wat's d use of it?)....

To those who got selected by unfairly  means (if there any),

u people have invested in d wrong box....let me tell u why.....air traffic controller is not a desk job where u can come n sleep all d day)...it requires some inborn  skills...if u dnt have good short term memory,quick decision making skill,3d visualisAtion  and multitasking skills ....u are gone....u will be a looser in d long run... ...u will pay for it no matter what if u r snatching away others job without possessing d needed skills

I see that there has been a great activity in this group since the results were released. What is observed is that people who got selected are now defending the AAIs decision while people who are not selected, especially, people claiming to be deserving are mighty angry. Rejected people are hurling accusations and conspiracy theories at AAI that it had followed devious procedure throughout the recruitment and that they took in some candidates who are less deserving than some candidates who are rejected. But, those who got selected are defending it in whichever logical way they can.

But from a neutral standpoint, it does not matter which side a candidate is, one can see that there were a lot of discrepancies throughout the recruitment process. Among the PSUs, based on my personal experience of 4 years of attempting exams conducted by PSUs and of many others, there is no other PSU which conducts recruitment in a ham-fisted way as AAI and AAI has definitely got to streamline its recruitment process at the earliest. But I also hear accusations of corruption and bribery by some disappointed candidates.  I want to appeal to those candidates to make a case in the court only if they have concrete evidence e.g., a video recording or audio tape. It is utterly imprudent to go to the court with just your written marks in hand which you claim to be very high as if written exam marks are sufficient for selection of candidate. And it is immature to say that if your interview marks are less then there is corruption involved. Based on my own interview experience in a recently concluded recruitment (SSC CGL 15), what I have learnt is that sometimes we do not fare as well in interview as we think we did. Kicking up a fuss about the interview process and raising doubts about the interviewer just because we got marks much less than we expected is silly. I also read here that clerks were conversing in front of students about bribes and their supervisors had to hush them up. Even if this conversation had happened the court would not admit this and dismiss it as a hearsay until the plaintiff has a video recording of the same. People have been mouthing off about AAI and threatening to drag it to the court but till now there has been no proof of corruption presented by them. If you have a sure shot proof to prove the company guilty, then by all means go for it. Even then you will have a long way to go as AAI have a pool of advocates who have dealt with many cases like these before. If you don't you should not even bother to approach any lawyer because all they would do is to rip you off and at the end give you "I did the best I could" reply thereby wasting your time and money. And I suggest to please be wise and invest your time in preparing for the exams which are lined up next.  AAI is not the only company in India. There are lot more. Keep on trying. Never get bogged down by disappointment. All the best.

Hello all, I am pursuing M tech and selected for ATC. I want to convert my M tech in part time and join ATC. But for this I need to submit an NOC from AAI to my institute academic office. Does anyone have idea whether AAI will give NOC for part time study?

In the offer letter they have mentioned in clause-15 that "You may appear in any examination or seek admission in any Institution Only with the prior permission of the Competent Authority as per applicable terms and conditions."

If anyone here have any contact with any employee or AAI or have any knowledge about it, please let me know as we need to accept the offer till july 15 so I need to make sure if I can do part time studies as soon as possible.
