Hope you don't mind if I answer. Some well known institutes for HR specialization are XLRI, TISS, IIM Ranchi (HR programme is new but then the advantage of brand is always there!), MDI, SCMHRD, IMI, IMT, XISS, XIMB, NMIMS

I made it to DSM DTU, last year at 86.16 percentile, with zero work-ex.
Fees is around 1.5-2 lakhs for entire course.
They provide dual-specialization.

Yes, you do have chances and you may apply to it.
Fee is low just like other IIT's.
Avg placements is roughly around 6.
@ Anyone -- Got screwed in all... Now left with last option CMAT(Feb 2013)....Hoping to score/cross 210 this time......wat clgs applications are still left to apply for ??

Can't be sure about predicting cut off's. You give your best. Try to score as high as possible.
Avg Pkg of KJ-SOM and Wellingkar both is in the range of 7-7.5.
Few companies consider lateral placements. Few don't. Depends on the role and profile offered by the Company.
