@moup more sort of frustruation ..... but one thing is for sure ...... of these lower iims only trichy and rohtak are growing fast !!!
rest four will take alot of time to be at par with clgs like IMT , iits , nitie and other clgs of this category !!!
Its my personal choice that i would go for iim brand if i had the choice

@rishg Hello. See, all the b-school rankings must be taken with a pinch of salt. Why a particular b-school is at a particular number and others at some other number is exceptionally difficult to determine. The methodologies adopted by various ranking bodies are varied and they take into account multitude of factors before assigning a number to a b-school. Though, I would not disagree with the fact that every student considers ranking as a parameter but that is where personal contacts, forums like our very own Pagalguy are of immense help to clear the air for all the aspirants regarding their confusion. Every serious CAT aspirant knows which are the best b-schools and for the next best ones he/she seeks suitable guidance for which ranking becomes one of the factors. My sincere requests to all the aspirants is not to follow rankings blindly but just consider them as an additional information. Seek guidance from your faculties at coaching institutes, seek help from fellow puys. At PG you can meet students belonging to most of the good institutes of the country, take their assistance and then make your own informed choice.

I need some info regarding new IIMs like raipur,udaipur,kashipur(+ve & -ve pts). I wanna know about their overall placements in summer& final,infrastructure,alumni etc(plz don't give the links of the respective colgs
, I just want overall view of the experts). I know no comparison is allowed but still which 1 should I prefer IIM R,U,K or IIT D(as there was a hoax reported by PG)/& IIT KGP.
P.S.- If anybody doesn't wanna compare here,plz ping/pm me ur views.

Could you throw some light on the overall utility of PHD programs .
If have got 86.53%ile in CAT will it be wise to apply ?

As far as I know,
FPM and PHD Programs are good if you want to make your career in Education.
No idea about the Cut Off's and Convert Cut Off. Kindly try to find out from some other sources.. !!

If you don't give CMAT, then how will you get into JBIMS?
Another way is there if you have given CAT. But CAT Cut Off is too high (99.5+ as far as I know).. !!

You could also register via CAT. But you would need >99.5%tile for any realistic chance of conversion.
