Hi Puys,

I have been selected for full time MBA program 2013-15 and I'm in a dilemma if I should terminate my employment as I also have an option to take sabbatical leave from work.

Does opting for a sabbatical leave have any effect on final placements?

or any other drawback?
Kindly add your 2 cents, if this would be a wise option to take?

@vinodp88 sabbatical for 2 yrs? 😲 and i guess sabbatical means u r still a part of the firm and cannot resign within that period

yup sabbatical means I will be part of the firm...just on a "leave" for 2 years...no salary..no employee benefits for this period...I find this option tempting because I wil have job security.

I think I can resign during sabbatical...have to confirm with the HR though.

@vinodp88 dude which company u r in ..that gives 2 yrs sabbatical? 😲 if thats so go for it..i blv ur pf amt gets added during sabbaticals also :)

After sabbatical period is over you will join on same package as of now....
Take all perspectives before you and then decide :)

I am with Wipro...doesn't pay the best but there are lot of employee benefits:)

Can some1 tell me de Bus timings and from where Can I board de bus to reach De Lavale campus ? Any bus to return back to Pune city later on. ???Please help ...
