@supermario said:Hello Seniors!Could you please share your GD/PI experiences of Last year? The nature of Topics discussed/No of People/time allotted in GD? And the PI experience? How is the PI generally? Stress Interviews or Normal Kinds? And usually in what domain (his engineering background or the work experience) is a person with a 3 years work-ex asked questions on?Thanks in adv
@supermario: Last year, what we had, we had two GE rounds. One of them was a AV round, in which we were shown video clippings and were given topics based on those. The other one was a normal current affairs GD. Last year, it was 8 people in one group and 10 minutes for one GD.
We had an annexure which all the shortlisted candidates had been made to fill prior to the process. In my case, most of the questions in the PI were from that itself. The PI was very normal and not much stress. We also had a 2 min extempore during the PI itself.
You'll be able to find more experiences on the link @aviewtoakhil posted above.
@vk88mba: We are working on preparing GE/PI tips, topics, mock GDs, student interviews, faculty tips etc for the aspirants. It is in progress. We'll be sharing all that with you quite soon on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CoffeeWithSIBM.
Also, all the activities and material will be put up on iAspire: http://www.sibmpune.edu.in/iaspire/, a portal which we maintain specially to provide material to aspirants to aid their preparation for MBA processes.
Other than that, if you have any specific query regarding GE/PI or anything else related to the process at SIBM Pune, feel free to post here or PM me.
Cheers. 😃

The ratio for call to conversion is around 7:1. So, as @aviewtoakhil rightly said, arpund 1200-1300 or so.

@Aniket97 I tried converting my score from percentile as per the score calculator provided by CL. Is it rigged? I have a percentile of 91.27 and a score ( according to CL percentile to score converter ) of 95.57 , which according to TIME and CL analysis means is good enough for a call from SCMHRD but I really doubt at such a low percentile it is a possibility. I would be thankful if someone could solve my dilemna?
Thanks a lot :)
Thanks a lot :)
@shubsamania I think as mentioned in the score card, the section wise percentage mentioned is a percentage of the highest marks scored by anyone in that particular section. So my opinion would be that it's not possible for us to determine our raw score from it. I know my raw score could not cross 110 at any cost (as per my attempts) and if i calculate in the way you mention i would be getting 120+ which is unfeasible.:)
@Aniket97 If you could also throw some light on the SIBM P chances? This is just your opinion I am asking for as I understand only god can predict cut offs 😃

you need to do well in GD and PI...with a good percentile you definitely stand a chance..!!
