@ all: @vaibhavp just told me about a few discrepancies that might have been seen regarding the percentiles and the percentage scores of some of the applicants. Could we please list a few of those here. So, that we, the ART, can take a look at them?
I was sure abt a score of 85+
but have got only 51.204 %ile with an absolute score of 63.158
is it possible that the college people hav made a mistake in checking????

my scores (after converting the percentage in individual section) is 120.27 and percentile 98.61
I checked a result f aother PUY.....his score comes arnd 119.81 (by same process) but percentile 98.8X ....
Difficult to fathom out
or may be some serious flaw in score calculations
please enlighten

@niksmech31: SIBM, or any other college for that matter, does not have anything to do with the checking of the SNAP papers, The SIU does it. Having said that, I am pretty sure that mistakes in correction won't be possible as the OMR correction is all digital. Could have been some mistake on your part.
For ALL: If you all are really dyin to do an MBA from one of the premier B- Schools, please understand that the ranking pattern this year has been changed from scores to percentiles. Nobody on this earth except the school authorities can guarantee whether you stand a chance to get a call from them. Please check the respective sites for official date of merit list.....and wait till then. It is of no use spamming this post by asking what ur chance is of getting a call. Please understand this if you really understand what an MBA is..........

@mavericmonck: It might be a one off and from the looks of it, the scores seem very close. But again, the score-sheets, if I am right, do not explicitly mention how they have calculated the percentage scores. So, the absolute scores that we have been calculating, we don't know yet what process should be undertaken to calculate them fool-proof.

@Aniket97 ya my percentile is 94.418,with percentage score in english:-36.300,quants:73.130,g,k:53.850,lr:68.970,i found 3 people heere having score less than me bt higher %tile,my snap id is 2041034
Having said that XLRI cut off used to be 92+, why not there might be chances for SIBM-P also to ve cut off as around 92 percentile..??? Is that possible by any chance???? @vaibhavp @VenkataramanR
P.S : Sorry if i sound stupid....:( My score is 93.69 and just hoping that i get a call from

@mavericmonck: This is the first that we here are hearing anything about weighted averages. So, we'll need to look into it ourselves first.
Plus, the important dates for all SIBM Pune aspirants are:
Jan 17 - SIBM shortlist/cutoffs
Jan 17-21 - Slot booking for the GE-PI process
Feb 2-7 - GE-PI process on campus

XLRI has stiff sectional cutoffs that is why the overall cutoffs are low. There is no sectional cutoff for SIBM Pune. So the cutoffs are expected to be higher for us.

So that is two cases at the moment. What are the differences in percentiles/scores with the other that you have mentioned.

Could you tell me as to who exactly did you call/email? SIBM Pune?
@sparshithp Dude your percentile is good enough to fetch you call and thereafter if you perform well in GD-PI, then you stand good chance. There is no management quota seats in SIBM-P or any other symbiosis college as per my knowledge.
@Aniket97 one has scored 104.25 with %tile 94.84 ,another two with %tiles 95.0x with 106.06 and one with 104.75
