I think you should not be spreading such news without any evidence
plus this is not the right time to debate about placements
@shashankbapat23 .I know...but this is a correct info, and many people like me are banging on SIBM result... and it caused a lot of embarrassment and tension..

The placement figures published on the website are true. A reputed institute like SIBM wont take the risk of publishing fake data as these are often audited at university level.
Also publishing false data is a very short term strategy which any B-school, specially of the repute of SIBM, does'nt follow. You will learn about all this if and when you make it to SIBM.
hello everyonecan anyone tell me how many students were called for GD stage for the 180 seats last year. Thanks in advance!
The number of students called for GI/PI : the number of seats is roughly 1:8.. However the number of students called is not a fixed number and it changes every year.
@vaibhavp ..I wish if it cd be true..but I got this info from TOP ugc brass....I just wanted t truth to cm out..nthing else....
See, I would never believe in secondary data when i myself am the source of the primary data. I have seen the way summer placements were carried out this year and I do not have an iota of doubt about the authenticity of the placement data published on the net.
It is your call after all. But please stop using words like "TOP UGC brass" and "Trusted people". Sounds cooked up and pfaffy. Come up with names of your trusted people in UGC next time you post.
@vaibhavp ..so u r pursuing ur degree from SIBM, Pune....this is what I m asking, even I wanted to get adm thr...but since then these news..u mean t placemenmt is 100% as they mention on site?????
@vaibhavp hi vaibhav. could you tell me what specialisation sibm is renowned for and how would you rate marketing in sibm wrt faculty, placements and any other data that you would find relevant ?
Hi, I have a few queries about sibm-p selection procedure. 1. I have heard that there are three rounds in 2nd stage- gd, pi and group task(plz correct me if I m wrong). Do we have any essay writing as well? 2. What is the window when the 2nd round will commence? Will it be in the First week of feb? Thanx in advance.
@dark_knight09 there are only two rounds GD & PI. although both rounds are divided into two
in the gd round there is an audio visual round where u'll be shown a video and a topic will be given to you and u need to have a short gd on the topic...after this the final gd will take place where you'll get your gd topic from the panelists.
then comes the PI...after a brief introduction of yourself u'll be asked to pick a chit and the chit that u pick will contain ur extempore topic after the extempore ur pi will continue.

Is the extempore in front of other candidates as well? Or is it separate?
