%ile systems gives you a clearer picture of where you stand against the rest. SNAP decided to give %iles from this year because it is more universally accepted scoring method.

Suppose you got a score of 93 last year. You would have lost all hopes of getting a call from SIBM coz the year before that the cutoff was 118. But wen you get %ile, you would have got an idea that you will actually get a call! So it for the benefit of the applicants and to avoid speculations.

@vaibhavp but ultimately cuttoff to 118 hi hoga na i mean 118=98.xx% . than how can it matter 93 marks ho ya % agar marks hota to 118 tak jata and % hota to 98 tak jata .. not able to get

Last year the cutoff was 91.75.. 118 was the cutoff the year before that.. now read my previous post again.

Kya phoda bhai? Log yahan 120+ la rahe hain... lekin han agar SIBMP aayi call to pakka party 😛 :)
