[2020-2022] [Official] SIBM Pune Admissions

@target12 Operations as a specialization is still at a very nascent stage in India. However, Operations @ SIBM is pretty decent. We have great in-house and visiting faculty. Placements are good as well. We have FMCGs, automotive majors, telecom companies, etc. (have mentioned just a few sectors)

thanx..
@omi2109 see the minimum percentage requirement is 50% If u can show them that ur the person they are actually looking for i think they will take you all the very best.

@tarunsidana201Your personal interview might be based on your work experience, if you have any. Even though there might not be any explicit grading for work experience, a good profile would obviously have a very good impact during the interview process.
@VenkataramanR do we need to send the online application form of sibm pune to the institute??? rply asap

Hi, with all due respect to the institute, i would like to raise a concern.

i have heard that Symbi institutes also give fake placement figures and the ROI is very poor.

I have registered for both SIBM and SCMHRD and have high regards for both, but in last few days i have heard a lot of people discussing things which bring the institute in poor light

obtained 61% in B.com(Honours) from University of calcutta. But taking into account my pass subjects my overall percentage is 54.267. Am I eligible to apply? Which marks should I enter while filling the form? I am a general category student. Please Help

@DanRayThanks a lot.And Yes it was NOT at all Confusing. In fact Super Clear.Lastly, I have not taken any classes as such for MBA prep, but have enrolled for test series by TestFunda.Can you please advice me what should a good attempt in each section in SNAP for a call from SIBM-Pune. (My GK is not good at all, in fact I rate it as horrible)I have a work experience of 2 years, will that be an added advantage by any chance.?I apologize for burdening you with questions.Thanks once again.
Well pretty hard to tell but still a 120+ attempts in all with GOOD ACCURACY can fetch you a call from SIBM P...

Its not about taking classes or giving a bundle of Mocks...Its only about knowing concepts by any means with good speed to attempt as many ques possible with good accuracy....

Workex is considered when it comes to final admission..so you got good chances...ATB :mg:

@curiousboy

As a student at SIBM-Pune, I can assure you that there are no FAKE placement reports. The disclosures made by any college are monitored by regulating authorities, and downright lying or going to the extent of puttting up fake placement reports on our websites is pretty impossible.
These concerns often arise from the fact that the average salary is not the best indicator of EVERY SINGLE salary in the batch. So a very high salary value might push your average salary value a little further up, and paint a comparatively brighter picture. However there is no perfect statistical measure for a salary. A median will not tell you about the distribution of salaries, for example. Otherwise, the reports are pretty detailed, and all facts mentioned in them are accurate.
Small inconsistencies like the one above have been viewed very unfairly in public scrutiny, so it is important to consider both the sides of the coin before making a sweeping statement.

@ani990 thanx bro..!!!

In MBA Fresher can be referred to someone who doesn't have any work-ex....in your case you have a gap of 1 year.

1) You can fill the subject in which you have specialized in your B.E. else you can fill any subject in your B.E. in which you have good knowledge.

2) No, you can make the payments for separate colleges later...each college has a separate last dates for itself...
