Hi, I have completed my B.E. with 49% aggregate. However, the university follows the practice of only mentioning the percentage obtained in the final year on the degree certificate which is 57%. So,my question is,am I eligible to apply,as the minimum requirement is "a Bachelor €™s Degree with at least 50% marks" or "Graduate (under 10+2+3) in any discipline with at least 50% marks" ?
If you have a documentary proof (a guideline issued by the university) that states that your AGGREGATE is considered to be THE SAME as your FINAL YEAR SCORE, than you can apply with eligibility. Remember that the class of your degree may not be considered the same as your aggregate in all cases. You might want to refer with other individuals from your university about the same.
Helloi actually registered for SNAP sometime back. But registered for individual colleges only this week.i havent got any prospectus by now.Any problems?
They usually send the prospectus a bit late...nothing to worry on that :)
I saw sumwhere that the intake of sibm is 180.Can u tell me whether is it the total seat for all the courses combined OR is it for each of the courses? :-O
& will there be any cutoff for GK? Sumbody wrote ,there will not be any sectional cut off?
The interviews are stress intrvw or moderate?
whats the total fees(including everything) for two years?
180 is the total intake for all the specializations combined. Over and above 180, you generally have around 15% seats for the international students, pushing the combined batch size to 207-209.
There have historically never been sectional cutoffs in SNAP, and I don't think there would be any this time either. However, this time, unlike previous times, SNAP results will come out in percentile format and the cutoffs for different institutes will be set according to the percentile scores of candidates.
The interviews could be ANYTHING. Be prepared for all three, since how the panelists in different institutes behave cannot be predicted. The fees for the first year amount to 5.25 Lakh, which is inclusive of a refundable security deposit worth Rs. 10000. You might also be paying around Rs. 30,000 for the pre-induction program. The fees for the second year would mostly be the same (subtract the pre-induction and security deposits, so around Rs 4.85), however that cannot be said with complete certainty. The firsrt year fees would mostly have to be paid in two installments of Rs. 375,000 and Rs 150,000 respectively.
