Important dates
Online application submission
Issue of Information Brochure and Application form (printed) -Last date - 15th October, 2013 (Working Monday to Friday, 10 am - 5 pm)
Eligibility
PGPM / PGP - HRM / PGP - IM
1. Minimum 3 years Bachelor's degree
2. 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline recognized by the association of Indian Universities / AICTE
3. Candidates completing all requirements for obtaining Bachelor's degree by 30th June, 2014 can also apply
4. Candidate must also hold at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in 10th and 12th examination.

1. Candidates need to appear for CAT (refer catiim.in)
(foreign nationals / NRI / PIO can apply by submitting valid GMAT score, taken not later than November 30, 2013)

I have several doubts regarding admission
1) The INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING OUT ONLINE APPLICATION FORM-2014 mentions
" The percentage should be computed after taking into account all subjects/papers (5 subjects in 10th including one Language subject and English language and 5 subjects in 12th including Language subject) that you appeared for in the examination even if some of these subjects/papers are not considered by the Board/ University/ Institute for computing the final percentage of marks and awarding class/distinction. "
Kindly clarify whether best 5 subjects should be taken or all the subjects should be taken for calculating 10th and 12th marks.
2) What were the approx CAT cutoff for admissions last year.
3) What are number of seats in each course PGPM/PGP-HRM/PGP-IM
4) Generally is it advisable to apply for all three courses or just for PGPM if one's main target is PGPM.
I went through last year's admission PagalGuy page, there was huge ambiguity regarding admission procedure on course preference basis.
5) How should one rank HRM vs IM ( just your personal opinion)
6) Even though a General Candidate, I would like to know whether MDI has reservations or not. I thought MDI was a government college.

1. Same as other puys - All subjects of class X are to be used to calculate the % or just the stated 5 (including 1 language and English).
2. It's written % should be rounded off to 1 decimal place whereas in the example they have used, they've rounded off to 2 decimal places.
3. I'm in the final year (5th year) of my 5 year Integrated course. In the instructions, the procedure for filling marks for people who've completed a 5 yr integrated course is mentioned (Average of first 3 yrs in Bachelors and last 2 yrs in Masters). But nothing is mentioned for people who haven't completed the course. So should I fill in the average of my first 3 yrs in Bachelors? And what about Masters?

I have a serious concern, I am not sure if I should fill the application form for MDI or not. I am getting around 70ish percentile in mocks. I occasionally get 85 percentile in either sections.
10th - 79.71 ( Gujarat State Board)
12th - 71 (Gujarat State Board)
B.Tech - 82.8
Work Experience - Around 48 months.
Please suggest, should I not fill the form considering my mock scores ? 😞

Just wanted to know the benefits of the IM programme vis-s-vis the general PGPM at MDI, given the difference of approx 4 lakhs in the fees of the two. Is putting in the extra 4 lakhs for IM worth it?

Can we send the documents through courier? Also We can submit the form twice also? because i paid the money online but after that also i am able to modify the form...
Hi,
I have made a small mistake while filling the form (In Std X institute name, I accidentally mentioned State Board). I made the payment and now I am not able to modify the form. Please let me know what I have to do in this case.
Also, when I login, I get the receipt of Application form, but I do not get the payment receipt. I did not take print out during payment as I thought I could take it later. Please advice me what to do for the payment receipt. Would the one I received in my email be enough?
