@gs4890 :Your only logic of rejection goes to high EMI buddy which is not a right thing.Better logic should be interest.See specialzatio should be decided only on the basis of your interest. If someone hs genuine interest in HR,then MHROD graduate from DSE can do much better than XLRI - PMIR guy.A finance passout from IMI - D can do much better than a finance professional from MDI - G subject to interest.College plays a role only as a plateform. It's upto you how you use your opportunities. If someone have interest in stocks and can do 12-14 hrs of work a day,he definitely should pursue Capital market. If someone is comfortable with economics, interested in risk management profile..etc,,then there is no problem in pursuing banking management. And capital market and banking management has got one of its top ranking in india in it's domain. LOAN to yaar except FMS,DSE,MFC,MBE,K.J.Somaiya etc. kuchek ko chorke har jagah se lena hi parta hai.....
MHROD HR better than XLRI HR?? IMI Finance better than MDI Finance?? R u kidding me???!! Some companies ONLY visit XLRI for HR recruitment in this country dude....! I agree with rest.

agree with you but I have seen several aspirants who just want to join a good b-school in whatever course they get, they feel the brand image of the college will help them but here they go wrong focussed courses completely depends upon a person's interest in in that sector so if u are not sure abt any sectoral course better go for a General MBA.I dropped NITIE ITM programme for NMIMS Core as i feel a general MBA will be a more flexible option instead of a sectoral course but again thts my perception :)

No , just 1k will be deducted. Send anyone from your family to collect the amount after sending a mail to NM
I am not joining NM Banking for since it very coslty+ killer background of engg and IT sector, which makes it very difficult to get a good job from campus (no ROI)

I agree with that interest part but how can u say it completely depends upon a student to get a good placements yeah if u struggle for a few yrs then definitely u will climb up the corporate ladder sooner or later but its a college only which gives u the industry interface, the faculties if everything depends upon student then if I am interested in marketing i can do it from BIMTECH
Noida or NIRMA and then dream abt getting an equaivalent placement status of that of an IIM student just because i was highly interested in Marketing specialization, dude try to understand interest is defintely important but investing a huge amt in a course in which u are interested only makes sense if u dont crib or grumble after getting a package of 5-6 lpa after u passout so if u can compromise on paypackage and also have that much budget to spend easily no probs.Atleast dont say every aspect depends upon the student itself or else there are several bright students with excellent managerial skills in IMI ,IMT or TAPMI who are not getting good profiles just because they did not got the right industry interface in these colleges and there are some average students in IIMs who just got into IIMs because of good CAT scores but dont have that amt of managerial skills bagging plump placements in excellent profiles
@abhinav_insane :Nopes buddy,I am not comparing these colleges. My point is about the interest and your long-term goal.I accept these pairs of colleges are not comparable.
