@gs4890 :This is Gaurav Sharma who himself is unable to decide.Confused whether to join or not and consoling himself by saying others not to join.

I agree with @gs4890 as focussed courses should be pursued only if u have genuine interest and if u pursue from colleges reputed for those course NMIMS is reputed for its MBA Core for eg if u want to pursue HR do it from XLRI,TISS,SCMHRD similarly for communications go for MICA.12.5 lacs is not a small amount so investment shud be done wisely so that u are satisfied with ur returns in future.So if u are joining Core well and good but for other courses join only if u have genuine interest in those courses so that even if u get less pay packages you will be atleast happy with whatever you learnt because faculty of NMIMS is quite good so ur knowledge will definitely help u as u gain work experience
Ya ya I pretty much know all this. Was querying him what made him suddenly change his opinion about NM Sectoral courses as he was pretty vociferous about NM sectoral courses and its achievements.

Ya I understand ur opinion and infact support it. I was just querying him why so sudden change in his opinion as he was vociferous earlier for NM sectoral courses and its achievement.

Agar EMI mein padhna hai to its not better not to look beyond IIM ABCL XL FMS SP NITIE. (My 2 cents)

@gs4890 I am also not joining NM Banking.same reasons + I am from engg + IT background, so it is very difficlut to grab a good job from campus.

what about the movement in HR, any one with an idea of the last no. in ??

what r u trying to say dude ? I am just saying that 35k EMI is too much for CM where there is very less chances of decent returns.

bhai EMI pahele bhi 35 k tha , abhi bhi 35k hain..but logo ke vichar kyun badal gaye..:P

@gs4890 Not joining NM Banking for same reason + killer background of engg + IT, so very difficult to grab a good job from campus.

I am not joining NM Banking because of the cost of the course + killer background of engg and IT sector, which makes it very difficult to get a good job from campus
@gs4890 bhai returns (in long terms) depends on you not col orcourse ... and if you love what you to even a kabadi (waste management guy) can make millions out of it ... just stating ki cost of course is too much ya EMI bahut hai is a completely wrong way to analysis any course or col
@gs4890 bhai...returns ki kya baat hai?? kya plcmnt ek dum hi nhi hai kya??
@MBAVichar
@abhishek.b11
@akram23
@SufyS

@gs4890 :Your only logic of rejection goes to high EMI buddy which is not a right thing.Better logic should be interest.See specialzatio should be decided only on the basis of your interest.
If someone hs genuine interest in HR,then MHROD graduate from DSE can do much better than XLRI - PMIR guy.A finance passout from IMI - D can do much better than a finance professional from MDI - G subject to interest.
College plays a role only as a plateform.It's upto you how you use your opportunities.If someone have interest in stocks and can do 12-14 hrs of work a day,he definitely should pursue Capital market.If someone is comfortable with economics,interested in risk management profile..etc,,then there is no problem in pursuing banking management.And capital market and banking management has got one of its top ranking in india in it's domain.
LOAN to yaar except FMS,DSE,MFC,MBE,K.J.Somaiya etc. kuchek ko chorke har jagah se lena hi parta hai.....
fair enough but I would rather invest one more year. ATB to u :)
