Hello Sir,How about the course of Climate change and sustainability studies. I gave interview for it and it was superb. I havent heard anything about this course in any of pagalguy forum. Can you give some idea that how are the placements or least who are coming to recruit from this course?
I have interacted with a senior from CCSS. It is a good course, new of course and has plenty of opportunities
Personally I find the School of Habitat Studies as one of the most promising institutes :D
Sustainable Development is the next big thing now, so there shouldn't be any dearth of opportunities when it comes to placements
If I am not mistaken CCSS provides both urban and rural field work opportunites
Try social networking sites to get connected with seniors, they can give you a brighter picture and bigger insight
PG is more into MBA and B-schools so when it comes to TISS, HRMLR seniors are the most active ones, it will be very difficult for them to give an insider opinion on the prospects of the course :)
@Dr.Manisha ' same here....my pi lasted not more than 10-15 minutes, and i couldn't see any iota of interest in my panel members ,as if it was just a sort of a formality. HR and LR is a bit far cry i think ,in spite of a rich industrial background in GOI. anyways i am sure not to make it. will miss u tiss with all my heart,really desperately wanted to get into tiss.
can some one help me with Declaration/undertaking form, what is it and from where can i get this? I got a mail today to upload 3 documents OBC certi, Declaration form and parents income certi before 5th april. P.S: its only for OBC (NC) candidates
whats happening guys? Have all the OBC candidates been sent such a mail? If not, then in such a case I am forced to think that the result might just be around the corner?

I think you can upload the form 16 or your NC certificate it will suffice if you dont have both then you may have an old NC certificate or last year return but still call TISS once and confirm it ,and i remember in the brochure they have mentioned about the untill which years NC or form 16 will be enough go through it once
OBC (NC) Certificate: OBC candidates from the creamy layer are treated as general candidates. Candidates belonging to OBC (non-creamy layer status) should send the community and non-creamy layer certificate issued by an official of the Revenue Department of the respective state government. They should also enclose the income certificate/income-tax return filed by their parents/guardians. All OBC (NC) candidates have to attach a declaration with regard to their status, and applications received without any of the above mentioned documents, will be rejected. Please note that the non-creamy layer certificate issued before March 31, 2011, will be treated as outdated and such candidates will be treated as general candidates, even though they may belong to OBC (NC).
